Sure MCI Center is still a perfectly acceptable arena and sure Potomac Yard is less centrally located and sure that area is incapable of handling large crowds and sure it’s going to cost taxpayers several $billion, but have you stopped to consider what a tremendous real estate opportunity this is for Leonsis? I just hope all these articles/studies delivers a nail in the coffin with this new arena. I fear the harsh reality is that billionaire owners who pocket politicians can have their way with these projects regardless of fan consensus.

So worst case is 30-45 minutes most nights with the potential for 60 to 90 minutes the 1 or 2 nights a year the stadium sells out.
