I totally agree with this trade. Otto was just a wasted salary on the cap. He was supposed to stretch the floor and be a good veterean. Guy barely played, and when he did, barely had an impact on the game. They got another young piece to develop, and a good veteran who happens to be Canadian that the fans will get behind right away. Olynyk and Poetl playing the center position is gonna be fun to watch.

You dont trade a first to flip a player. Giving up the first signals we will likely offer him a contract come FA. 2+1 club option makes sense maybe 30 mil ish? We still have the Pacers first this year which will likely be around 18. Convey our pick this year, keep full control of the 25 maintain some flexibility and just let the guys play next season without worrying about whats going on with your draft pick. Masai plays chess not checkers.
