No return ticket for Cory joseph !!! he will be flying back on Spirit !!!

Welcome to the team, 2nd round draft pick 🤝

  3. BitInitial2599

So in 4 hours, he just gonna walk over to their bench when the game starts?

The trade we’ve all been waiting for.

Probably for cash or a heavily protected 2nd rounder.

  5. They play tonight, are they gonna leave him in Indy?!

  6. Drakilgon

I’m glad Cory started hitting shots those last 5 games he played. Makes his time here feel a bit less bitter, at least he did something helpful.

Finally! A trade that makes us better

  8. Bob Myers was asking at 12 noon why Warriors didn’t make a move… and he was sort of evasive.. asked for Woj to come on… I think he knew about the trade but Woj hadn’t got the info.

  9. We actually received ASSETS for Cory Jo? Idc if all we got was a snicker bar, I’m impressed lol

  10. Pretty good return. I thought we would have to give up a pick to trade him.

  11. We’re making room for OPJ so that we can sign him on a vet min from the buyout market and not add to our tax bill

Edit to add: because FYI, we HAVE to sign another player in the next 2 weeks to fill the 14th roster spot.

  12. Thanks CoJo for all you’ve done. I wish him good luck in Indiana!

  13. Is that why the whole bench was cheering him last night? Celebrating his last buckets for the dubs?

  14. “Look, we’re already here. Let’s just leave him”

But seriously, too bad for him. He’s a reliable ball handler, but there’s no minutes for him here. Wish him well.

  15. read that warriors save maybe around 11 million with this move

quinones > joseph with the former likely getting that 14th spot on roster now

warriors get a 2nd round pick

win, win, win move by the warriors as it’s basically addition by subtraction

i know it’s not the move some warriors fan wanted but imo that kind of trade realistically wasn’t out there to be made with the assets the warriors had … not to mention the 2nd apron ramifications the team is in right now … and what players were made available from other teams and their asking prices were

  16. coder0704

So are we just dropping him off tonight or what?

  17. Quinones proving he is capable to fill in that 3rd pg

  18. Wiggins better not go back to playing like shit !

Great move. Frees up a roster spot by removing an unnecessary guard (who, tbf, looked necessary in the offseason with the uncertainty of Podz and CP3 health) and now the Warriors have a pick that can be used to promise roster spot to whoever falls in the draft and vaguely fits the team ala TJD.
