    I’ll reserve judgment on just how mid this is until I learn what the heavy protections are on that second rounder. There’s a world of difference between a 55 protected 2025 pick and a 53 protected 2026 pick.

    Always really liked Banton tbh. 6’9″ guard who’s a solid playmaker and elite defensive potential. Can he put the ball in the basket? Absolutely not, but a perfect guy to give lead guard reps to on the Remix and see if he can work on his scoring.

    I’m genuinely confused by this..
    We have a bit of a clog for playtime for the guard rotations, and trade a heavily protected 2nd rounder for a guard (so the 2nd likely won’t even convey depending on the year it’s for)

    So is this just a salary cap favor for Boston?
