Have like shot makers around Giannis is pretty important you know uh what what I like you know we obviously know he can shoot the ball he’s he’s a fighter on defense you know that not saying he’s a great defender but you’re not just going

To go score on him he’s going to give it a fight uh which will allow us to help him a little bit so that’s that’s what we want to see you had mentioned it I think right when you started about just you know the level of teams the schedule you kind of

People knocked the trade uh with Rudy I don’t think anyone’s laughing at that tradeit anymore I mean they’re they’re just a and they play hard too like I was really impressed with that late in the game when they still had their starters off they were fighting through screens

They were getting frustrated that AJ was making shots you know it’s a team that you can see that thinks they have a chance and uh they’re going for and you can see the in the way they play before the game the Beverly trade was not official it is now official oh Beverly’s

Coming huh yeah I know big surprise big shock um I guess just for you obviously you know Pat um what do you feel like he can bring to this team he is a very very high IQ player um especially defensively and even offensively with his movement

And stuff and setting picks um he’s also an instigator um he’s a big talker defensively not meaning Trash Talk meaning he talks on defense and I think those are some of the things that that we need you know um he has you know he’s at times he has great defensive nights

At times he overdo it and those are the nights where him and I know we have to have a talk I I’ve coached him before um but he’s a good spirit for your team um and one of the most competitive players I’ve ever coached and people like that

Um it’s contagious and I think that’s good for our team just what do you feel like his toughness and grit kind of kind of brings it feels like that’s a big part of of it does you know um it brings another guy I mean we have size and

Bobby you know uh but it just brings another gritty guy and we’re going to need that what have you seen from AJ off the court that has shown you just in the little time that you’ve been with him that he stay stays ready he he works you

Know our young guys all work they really do they put in the time you know I of coached a long time and I played a thousand years ago I’ve never set you know I’ve never had to do what they have to do and I I’m I’m very sensitive

Towards it you know early in my coaching career I didn’t I wasn’t you know because I’ve always played when I was a player and for guys to come to practice every day and pretty much know they’re not going to play and still stay ready

Uh it’s hard to do uh and it shows a lot of character and and all our young guys are doing that and then what did you see from Jay Crowder tonight he was leading your team at the half with 16 he you know what’s funny he just he’s getting

Back in shape you that’s the other guy that we forget we’re playing on minutes but he just came off an injury um you know it’s funny I wanted to keep him in uh but I didn’t want to push it but I was thinking about more conditioning maybe use the tonight as a condition

Thing but the fact that we played tomorrow is why I took him out uh one more on Pat Bev do you expect him to have him tomorrow probably join you guys next week I don’t know but if I know Pat beev which I do um I’m I I would be very

Very surprised if he’s not in town already um which he text me before the trade I couldn’t text him back on and he saiding I’m on my way so I don’t know what that meant but my guess is Pat Beverly will be in the building tomorrow yep thanks guys
