Man, going to miss McBuckets for sure 🙁

  2. NOOOOOOOO!! After his comments yesterday this hurts a lil more. Business blows

  3. Dabawse26

We are gonna be the worst shooting team in the league lol

  4. Electrical_Panic4550

I like Doug. I hope we can get him back at the end of his contract.

  5. JOYCEISDEAD

I bet Barlow gets a full contract now.

    SA will miss you Dougie

I understand we are still in the gathering assets stage, but for a second round pick I don’t think this is worth it

🫡 McBuckets. See you back later on for your coaching career

  8. FireBeeChin

Man will miss him he was our only serious shooter

Damn for Marcus Morris? SRP will likely just be traded down the line, we almost have too many SRP

“The Pacers are trading Marcus Morris, a second-round pick and cash to the Spurs for Doug McDermott, sources tell” – Shams Charania

    We finally got him boys!

I’d rather have Dougie. He’s expiring anyways.

What are all these 2nd round picks gonna do for the Spurs anyways?

While he was one of the worst defenders I’ve ever seen, Doug legitimately kept us in a few games. Expect more scoring droughts.

Wait hold on lmao, which twin was the one Jeremy judo-flipped last year😭😭

EDIT: it was Markieff, missed out on the funniest timeline

This blows. A 2029 second round pick? Jesus.

With Dougie gone, our best 3pt shooter is now…..

    Dom Barlowe?!?!? at .429

Hate this, what does a 2029 2nd do for us. Doug has faults but having a sniper out there that I actually had confidence in making shots was huge.

Marcus Morris is legit the only player in the league I don’t want to see in a spurs jersey.

  18. I doubt he wanted to stay past this season. Something is better than nothing

Once a Spur, always a Spur. He fit our culture perfectly, but we all knew this was inevitable. Just glad we sent him somewhere appropriate because he definitely deserves that!

    1. He’s an uncoming free agent and unlikely to be retained or want to stay.
    2. The pick is the Clippers’ pick after their current era is gone. Likely we’ll be a playoff team by then.
    3. This is a ‘good guy’ trade: we send our players to good situations with playoff teams.

So, we get something for a guy who isn’t going to be around anyway (like Derozan) and get him to a great destination for him. What’s the problem?
