  1. reaves going for the steal was so fucking braindead he was straight ASS tonight

  2. akgamestar

Nuggets ran maybe 100 screens tonight. Not one Laker drew an offensive foul or got a defensive foul running through a screen. Thats pathetic losing basketball.

  3. POA defence was and remains this teams biggest weakness and what will be our undoing.

  4. BritzlBen

Exactly how the playoffs went. Keep it close but their guys always hit the big shot to stay ahead, our role players always break down on defense on big plays, and our role players always miss the big shots.

  5. Significant_Night_65

we might of had a chance if Rui played tonight

  6. tito-ortiz-wife69

Hayes and mays defense energy and rebounding is what this team needs

  7. To lose on this night is the toughest loss all season. After the last two seasons we had, just to come back as a different team and make a deep play off run, get swept against the eventual Champs in the WCF, lose against them in our home opener after talking how we wanted them all summer, then on MAMBA night of all nights, the unveiling of the statue while wearing the black mamba jerseys, just to freaking lose from a late run at the end of the game. This loss hurts.

  8. # Still a special day! Thank you, Kobe!

    # 1 loss is temporary…

    # Statues are FOREVER!

  9. HighlyBaked0

Mays needs to be getting minutes at backup PG while Gabe is out

  10. xmrjaredx

Down FIVE rotation players. glad they played hard but it still hurts to lose.

  11. AD can stop Jokic. Can we focus on stopping Murray. That guy does not miss against us

  12. Ligmaxoxo

Game was so predictable went exactly as we all thought

  13. Waly_Disnep

Mays & Hayes connection looks promising, run it some more and let them cook.

  14. chrisbrits24

Mike Malone about to fap again beating the Lakers. FFS.

  15. Rathalos88

How many open looks did we give them tonight? Teams have a high 3pt % against us because we leave them wide open. It’s not luck. We just suck ass defending the perimeter.

  16. thebarrytone

The L sucks, but that was a good basketball game.

  17. This sub was bitching for a whole month that they wanted Rui to start btw 🤷🏻‍♂️

  18. chief_jabroni

No lie I hope the clippers destroy the nuggets in the playoffs. I fucking hate Denver

  19. JayCrenshaw

Kobe would be sick watching these play-in bums.

  20. youngsnack

Im surprised reaves could still run up and down the court with that huge dump in his pants

  21. SeaworthinessThis227

The loss sucks but I expected it. Being that close with all our missing guys gives me some hope. Hayes and Mayes were impressive too

  22. Rui with 38 minutes and 2 points, he’s lucky to even be on the fucking roster right now

  23. headlikeacole

Blaming this loss on Lars Ulrich being there

  24. brotherlymoses

People hate the nuggets, but not me. I hate this team more. .500 sad ass team.

Tonight might’ve unlocked a few things. Ham seemed to realize size is the way to go vs Jokic which led to the extended AD/Hayes mins. Those went well so hopefully we can see more of that with success moving forward.

Ironically, Prince was better when switched onto Jokic than Rui was. Don’t know what Rui’s deal was, but I hope it doesn’t result in Prince going back into the starting lineup because he really shines on the bench.

DLo and Max injuries gave us a look at Mays, and honestly, if he can give us even half of what JHS was expected to give us when we drafted him, that’ll be a win. Someone who can handle the ball, feed the bigs, and chase speedy guards around is badly needed.

And Ham wasn’t perfect, but he wasn’t egregious either. I would’ve liked a timeout when we were down 5 with a minute left, but he mostly called them at decent times the rest of the game.

This loss hurt, but let’s see if we can bounce back and respond tomorrow against the Pels.

  26. mookiebraves

Long as we win the next two games on our home floor this one won’t matter as much.

Asking alot to beat the Nuggets while we’re apparently still trying to figure out the right rotations to close games on top of not having Lo’, Vando, and potentially the return of Gabe.

On a side note NBA scheduling fucking us over next week with the back to back vs GSW and Utah on the road so they need to win these next two games to avoid falling behind those teams.

  27. incredibleamadeuscho

I think about the words that Phil, Kareem, and Vanessa said about Kobe’s approach to life. They talked about Kobe believed waking up with pain as a source of joy, because it meant you struggled for something important to you. The pain of loss is difficult, but it’s a necessary part of the process. Losing sucks, but it’s a part of hard work.

Mamba Mentality is not about winning. It’s about putting in the work and trusting the process. We keep seeing our guys put in the work, so although this loss sucks, especially on Mamba night, we gotta key working at it and move forward.

  28. evilmonk234

We went from down 1 with 3:00 left to DOWN 8 with 1 min left for darvin to call a timeout. That’s what’s crazy here.
