Man what the hell were the Lakers doing on offense this entire stretch

It’s like night and day, the crispness, clarity of thought, execution. Lakers didn’t even have playcalls

  2. Coke_ButNotTheDrug

Reaves really thought leaving MPJ wide open for a risky steal was a smart move lol

  3. Fit-Avocado-342

You can see why they won a championship. Didn’t give a shit about the momentum shift and executed perfectly

  4. landlion35

The Nuggets love curb stomping teams in clutch time.

  5. riptide123

Good luck beating jokic Murray 4 times in a series lol

  6. This was absolute champ shit right here. Just decided to stop fucking around and win the game.

  7. YouStillTakeDamage

Reaves gambling for the steal and leaving MPJ wide open was an absolute back breaker.

  8. White-Gravity

The nuggets are repeating. 100%. These dudes are just so fucking good

  9. The difference in tone from the announcers between Reaves and Murray’s 3s is soooo incredibly funny

  10. liftingruinedmylife

Lebron bricking clutch shots just like he did in the WCF lmao

  11. Budget_Specialist_18

Jokic’s best skill is decision making

  12. greywolf2155

I know it’s so cliché to talk about how a team is so good, “the only one who can beat them is themselves” etc.

But honestly, with this Nuggets team, when they’re clicking you just know they are going to get a good shot on offense. No matter what you do, they’re going to get a good look. You just have to hope they miss it

  13. RGPISGOOD

Lakers declaring Reaves is untouchable is just hilarious.

  14. panchettaz

Refs gave that bs foul to AD and Jamal had enough. Flipped a switch and went into Playoff Murray mode

  15. Ramu_1798

Man, NOTHING more satisfying than seeing the Staples Center crowd drown out all their hype in less than a minute.

Lakers downfall is my 12/25 🙏🙏.

  16. Charliebitme1234

Great timeout by darvin ham there, really stopped the run and got the boys focused again

  17. Lebron’s transition D after that missed floater was atrocious

  18. Saucypikl

Mpj misses because he takes dumb shots so make him take dumb shots, don’t do whatever that’s was. Lmao

  19. burrito_fister

Lakers crowd wanted a taste of the lead so bad, Nuggets just kept edging and denying them. Intense game, Murray lives for it

  20. Miyagisans

The lakers best hope is that IF they make the playoffs, they don’t meet the nuggets. They just can’t beat this team.

  21. I fucking love jamal murray. I can’t believe we missed this guy for two straight postseasons

  22. Moist_Walrus5413

Jamal Murray is the best Canadian pg in the league

  23. CookingLikeChef

Jokic awareness is insane, most bigs that’s a strip but he wasn’t even fazed and immediately passed that rock to the corner

  24. thegrandpoobear

Watching LeBron give absolutely zero effort for the majority of this video is hilarious. Negative effort on defense, stood in the corner half the time on offense, no off ball movement to speak of.

Reaves was a complete disaster so he steals the spotlight away from how horrible the rest of the Lakers were during this stretch.

  25. runevault

This run is the epitome of why I believe we can repeat. Yeah it’s the Lakers but they just said “no more” and ended it with one back breaker after another.

  26. FindingCharming128

I don’t know in what condition can the lakers win the nuggets, at home, on Kobe statue day, 15 more free throws, still lose lol

  27. horredgrones

Down by 5 with 1:08 to play and Reaves made a VERY high risk play to steal the ball from Jokic. That wasn’t smart basketball.

  28. spizcraft

I can usually tell when Jokic peeks before some prescient shit, but I seriously have no idea how he knew Reaves was there and timed that so perfectly. If you scrub frame-by-frame it’s unreal

  29. Also Jokic contesting LBJ and Reaves well there battling for rebounds thats what he does on defense that “experts ” ignore

  30. A Lakers fan called their team unserious, and it really shows in this clip. Reaves had his boneheaded plays, but LBJ showed no hustle to get back on several of those plays. How did LeBron hustle more on the AD attempted steal at the end of the game than when the game was still winnable?! The Lakers played well all game, but just seemed to roll over defensively when it mattered.

Also, that AD “screen” on the Reaves 3 attempt was laughable.

  31. goldenduskofdawn

On the last layup Reaves literally chooses to fall onto his hip rather than just land normally to try and dry a foul. Glad refs didnt call it

  32. simonffplayer

i find it odd that darvin absorbs all the criticism. the lakers easily could’ve won this game if they made more FTs (22 to 7 advantage, but they only made 16 of them) or open 3s. also had a massive TO advantage. why not blame the fact that the lakers simply don’t have enough good shooters

  33. Austin Reaves leaving his man wide open to try and steal the ball from Jokic is basketball TERRORISM

  34. LockeAndSmith

Watching the lakers lose never gets old. In the 4th Bron literally body checked jokic, no call, and then gets a fouls call 2 seconds later on the other end. The current lakers team might be the most talented but soft team I’ve ever seen

  35. slicksonslick

Was that play where Jokic hangs the ball out and Reeves goes to steal the ball then Jokic throws it to MPJ wide open in the corner on purpose????

Jokic pulled the ball up at the perfect time and throws it right to MPJ without looking it looked like???

I feel like that shit was on purpose?!!??!

  36. somedudeinlosangeles

You love to see it. FUCK THE LAKERS.

  37. Disastrous_Bluejay57

Why didn’t the Lakers put Rui on Jokic? Are they stupid?

In all seriousness though, we won this because of Darvin Ham’s obsession with playing Prince at all costs. Jamal was able to kick-start the 10-0 run by getting 5 easy points against Prince. Jamal could knock down that first 3 pointer because Prince went *under* the screen.

For all the Lakers fans, here’s a fun exercise. Count the number of games Prince has started for you. Then compare that to the number of games Prince has started across the rest of his career combined. That ratio is over 2:1. He’s a career bench player for a reason. He shouldn’t be starting and he definitely shouldn’t be closing games in the clutch.
