We need you know um he has you know he’s at times he has great defensive nights at times he he overdo it and those are the nights where him and I know we have to have a talk I I’ve coached him before um but he’s a good spirit for your team

Um and one of the most competitive players I’ve ever coached and people like like that um it’s contagious and I think that’s good for our team just what do you feel like his toughness and grit kind of kind of brings it feels like that’s a big part of of it does you know

Um it brings another guy I mean we have size and Bobby you know uh but it just brings another gritty guy and we’re going to need that what have you seen from AJ off the court that has shown you just in the little time that you’ve been

With him that he stays ready he he works you know our young guys all work they really do they put in the time you know I I’ve coached a long time and I played a thousand years ago I’ve never set you know I’ve never had to do what they have

To do and and I I’m I’m very sensitive towards it you know earli in my coaching career I didn’t I wasn’t you know because I’ve always played when I was a player and for guys to come to practice every day and pretty much know they’re not going to play and still stay ready
