[Followill] Starting with the home win vs the Knicks four weeks ago tonight, here’s the last 13 games for Josh Green: 13.9 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.9 apg, 53.3% FG, 47.8% on 3s (with about two-thirds of those 3s being corner 3s).

He’s been much more aggressive that’s for sure. He’s no longer scared to shoot

The Mavericks could have traded Josh Green plenty of times but they believe in him. This is his year to pick up the pace and go strong the rest of the year and show this is not some fluke for him. There’s no more excuses for him to be timid anymore. Go strong young fella 💪

Josh is finally playing how we expected him to

corner green is a SNIPER

Hitting his stride at the perfect moment. He’s been playing within the game and not forcing it or overthinking it. Happy to see it. One of my favorite dunkers in the game.

So glad he’s finally putting it together a bit. Making the front office feel right for not trading him. Honestly huge we were able to keep him while adding PJ and Gaf. We’re deep now and Josh has the opportunity to grow into our 4th or maybe even 3rd option

He’s coming alive. Glad we didn’t trade him for PJ.

That’s my Green Clutch. I have noticed Kidd has been relying on him more than Tim.

Before the season started, my goal for Josh was to average >32mpg, 13/4/3 on 38%+ 3P shooting and 5 3P attempts/game. That is *exactly* the player he’s been for the last 13 games.
I’m so happy we didn’t trade him.

He’s got the GREEN LIGHT!

His defence has been pretty good most nights too.

I’d just like him to improve on deffense now. He’s not a bad defender, but he’s still making too many mistakes. Needs to play smarter on defense.
But his transition offense offer us something different and even harder to defend. And he’s also shooting well from 3.

i’m so relieved we didn’t trade him. his inconsistency has been frustrating, but he’s finally putting it together and for the first time performing great consistently with both luka and kyrie playing. he might not ever be maxey or bane (often compared to them since he was drafted before them), but he is still really talented has a plenty more potential to continue improving.
