Of course Steph Curry is always extremely difficult but you know in a game like this where he got going so quickly I mean is there any adjustments you can even make especially when the rest of the Warriors are hitting threes when you trap well he was making shots

But we got we got beat by their hard play and our lack of hard play simple as that it was you know it was it was it was ugly but I think we lost every quarter um very disappointing did you feel like that was the issue on offense as well like the

Third quarter you guys defense was a little better but you only scored 18 I think was it just hard to play on both ends too or is there something else kind of getting in the way of this hard on selfish play is gonna is going to be the key to our

Team with trades official now you’ve coached him before is there anything you could say about Doug mcder and what he can bring to your team we like him sticks obviously had a a pretty strong start six of six and then comes out with the back and just is is it kind

Of the same stuff just just flaring up on him that he’s had I think so all right um what I guess to delve a little bit deeper just the hardplay issue and I guess what are the numbers that stand out to you most I gu the rebound every single one of them every

Single one of them I me check I got beat in every category that you can get beat in so I mean we got they got 17 more loose balls than we did we got 11 out of 28 Rick season Low Five Points for Tyrese tonight um I guess what is it

Like just trying to help him get through a game like that when he doesn’t have it going and maybe isn’t in the Rhythm well you know our fixation has got to be on hard unselfish play and we do those things the scoring will take care of itself

Um I don’t write this off to in one guy’s having an a struggle with his individual scoring this is a team thing any success we’ve had this year has been built on you know the group being stronger than IND individuals you know even even in in in Tai’s um most extraordinary games you

Know they were they were great team efforts as well so you know we just we got to we just got to understand that that’s that’s what this is about just a bad game top to bottom uh started with me started with our first group and uh yeah po effort game just poor

Performance overall maybe seeing things but it felt like you were getting up a little slower than this one hobbling early like something bothering you or was it just wear and tear of the Season kind of stuff no I’m fine we just uh just had a bad game what do you think of

What the team did today from the trade font both from Trading buddy away and getting dug uh yeah I’m excited to bring Doug in um you know excited to have another guy who can space the floor uh obviously um it hurts not to play with buddy anymore uh today was my first game

Near that not quite yeah nobody’s buddy in that case but still just to get somebody that could demand defense yeah you’re just adding another Elite shooter to our group and that’s uh that’s exciting I think he’ll fit fit in seamlessly with what we do you know both offensively and defensively and uh I’m

Excited to have him to the group T how do you I guess balance like CH was talking about you want to like win now you want OB if you win to Championship tomorrow you probably would right go after so how do you balance as a player

When you know like we have to build this but I I want it like right now yeah I mean my job is just to go out and win games um or you know put the best product out on the floor you know that’s all like all I really control um you

Know I’m not the the the I’m not Jackie Moon I’m not the GM coach and player you know my job is just to go out there and help us uh win games and you know trust our front office to make the right decisions and um you know I’m a leader

Of the group a part of the group so um you know just try to win with whatever product or with whatever group we got you know just trying to win every night in terms of just in terms of what just happened tonight I mean how much was it

Part of Steph going off you know early obviously you guys were OB scoring the ball pretty well was it sort of um do you feel like that kind of the degree to which he was on one tonight knocked you guys off course a little bit uh yeah I

Literally NBA games you’ve played in without buddy heeld like one or two through the years like did you notice at any point during the game you didn’t look over you know you didn’t dunk and he laughed or anything like that did you feel anything with him not being there

Today like from a personal level uh I mean it’s just weird you know I’ve never I don’t I don’t think I’ve ever sued up for an NBA game without buddy real real talk I don’t think I’ve ever played one without him he was sick last year but

You were also out right yeah I’ve never played an NBA game without him so uh yeah it was defin weird it’s going to be weird moving forward a little bit um but that’s part of the es and flows the NBA um excited for him to have the

Opportunity and uh yeah I’m going to miss him but I I’m sure we’ll go to the Bahamas together after the season so I mean we’ll still talk every day yeah
