[Neubeck] If Maxey doesn’t play and the trade guys don’t get upgraded, the Sixers would only have the following eight guys available: Reed Harris Oubre Martin Terq Council IV Bamba Lofton Jr.

Pat Bev already passed his physical. What is taking our medical team so long to do their job?

  2. I can suit up. I’m in the best shape of my life.

If a couple guys foul out
    What happens😂
    Is there a mercy rule?
    Do they play 4vs 5?

Almost as bad as the Grizzlies roster from earlier in the week.

Lemme in, coach. My shot is wet but I am a lazy defender and selfish offensive player.

This is a painful stretch. The difference between when this team is healthy vs now is so bizarre

If this happens, Tobi is certain to take 25 shots, or maybe 20, possibly 15. Who am I kidding? Probably 10.

Ask some of the Eagles if they feel like suiting up for a night

Is Mike Scott available to throw on warmups and sit on the bench?

At least for Tobias, he won’t have to sacrifice and he can get all the shots he wants. He’ll get us 14 points

This would actually make this game so much more watchable imo, let’s get weird

It’s like Moneyball but if Brad Pitt was wrong

Process round 2 baby let’s get it! All these new fans about to learn what it’s really like being a sixer fan

  16. I’m hoping a Sixer can pick up 7 fouls in a game.

Since 1954, the NBA has set the maximum number of personal fouls at 6 per player. However, there is a loophole that if a team is down to five players, the 6th foul results in a technical and not an ejection. This last happened (iirc) with Steve Blake on the Lakers in 2014. No player has ever picked up a 7th foul since this rule came into existence, however, with one exception. In 1999, Cal Bowlder picked up his 5th foul, but it was inadvertently ruled his 5th foul. When he picked up his 7th, they ejected him. I don’t consider that legitimate.

The record is actually 8 fouls in a game, before there was a limit. Also, Adrian Smith is credited with 7 fouls against the Knicks in January 1967. But I can’t find anything else about that game. They had more than five players available according to the box score, so either there were injuries, other ejections, or this is another error. I think it might be an error, because the scan of the box score says that only Jerry Lucas fouled out and also credits the Royals with 4 fewer fouls than the basketball-reference page says.
