Bulls sit out trade deadline for third straight season

Quick Hitters:

-Internal dialogue on selling off pieces but those decisions pushed till offseason

-LaVine talks specifically on hold till offseason after surgery

-Some exploratory talks with DeRozan but nothing major

-Warriors asked for Caruso, Bulls wanted Kuminga and were rebuffed. Weren’t interested in Moody and picks.

-76ers and Mavericks were in on Drummond but ended up pivoting to other center options

-Bulls likely buyout target is Joe Harris

JOE HARRIS!?! That’s the guy they want?? Lol count your days AKME. I hope every national media outlet clowns the Bulls for being unserious and irrelevant just like they did in 2020 and we see changes again. Not watching a single game the rest of this season.

The funny thing about the Kuminga part is if they had sold off right after the 5-14 start they probably could’ve had him and picks for Caruso.

  3. Don’t act like anything will change until the old fart dies this team will be a below .500 10 seed for a decade more

I would take someone like killian Hayes 50 million times over Joe Harris. Even though killian Hayes is ass he’s young and I know there’s at least a 0.001% he might kinda improve with a change of scenery. There’s a 0% chance Joe Harris does anything for us

I’m gonna be sick bro. We almost traded a former all star under 30 for a dude we’re now targeting in the buyout market because the worst team in the league would rather pay him not to play half a season more for them. And the trade probably would’ve gone through if our guy didn’t opt for season-ending surgery.

This franchise is so unbelievably cooked it’s insane

  6. I understand they think they are a “win-now” team & want to focus on the schedule ahead… but what the fuck is the point of pushing all these decisions till the offseason. This is stuff that can decide the next 5 years of a franchise… wouldn’t be something I just put off til later 😂 obviously they shouldn’t (and can’t 🙄) make any extreme decisions now, but pushing it off til later is wild

Makes me think Garpax are still running things

Nothing new, if you spend your money on tickets or merchandise please use that money and donate it to a local charity in your area. You are a big part of the problem.

Lonzos injury really set this team back and I believe AMKE is held back by this, but they have done nothing to pivot or make a change. The one time Reinsdork spends big money you use it on Lavine LOL. So good luck him ever spending again.

I haven’t watched a single minute the past 2 seasons and will not until actual changes come.

Just want to say, the only teams other than us in the east that did nothing at the deadline were the Hawks and the Magic, two teams in the muck and mire of the play-in with us, i.e. we’re fucked.

The trade for Vucevic is organizational malpractice and all responsible should be subject to immediate tar-and-feathering at a location to be determined by the victims.

FYI the Mavs traded a 1st rounder for Daniel Gafford today after apparently “pivoting away” from Drummond. I’d like that extra 1st right now.

man what trade did y’all want to happen

  13. I am cool with this but bruh I’d of let caruso go in a heart beat for moody and picks. Sure we would probably drop out of the play in but we probably are not making it out of the play in as it is and derozan will probably walk for nothing

  14. I dunno how much this actually matters, but I unfollowed the Bulls on instagram to show my displeasure.

Boycott the team. Root for my sweet boys Caruso and Coby to ball out but I cannot support this team w my eyeballs or wallet.

Can we trade AKME for a Big Mac? These two are insanely incompetent.

I guess…and this is embarrassing to say…that they feel happy that the team is a play-in contender with Zach/Lonzo hurt and want to see what happens when they are both back?

Banking on two injury prone guards doesn’t feel great to me. But that’s the only thing that makes sense.

If we were really offered Moody and picks (which I’ll speculatively call a first and second), I’m devastated. Let other teams make deals cuz we were completely high on our own shitty teams supply. Gonna wander into a play-in seed just bcuz a team has to fill the slot
