I’m just going to overlook the fact that this entire highlight reel is against the Bulls and Wiz, who obviously suck ass, and Indiana, who has one of the worst defensive ratings in modern basketball lol.

Obviously his injury history is a concern, but he is a solid veteran who is another weapon on offense, and a little more size for rebounding and defense.
We don’t need him to be the prime version of himself. He has been at around 15/5/5 this year on a Hornets team that was not playing winning basketball, has a toxic culture, and does not have nearly the arsenal that we have.
He can do a little bit of everything for us, and even though he’s not the rebounding big we have been craving, any extra size and muscle we can get will help give us a better chance at rebounds. Add that to the fact that running him as a small ball four along with SGA/JDub/Chet and either of Wiggins/Joe gives us pretty decent five out potential so that SGA can dissect the opposing defense.
I think he will be motivated to play hard and stay as healthy as possible for us because we give him a chance to compete for a title.

I really like how he tries to get the ball in the paint. Looks like he was always looking for it. Those connections with PJ in the post makes me think he will like having Chet as a big target down there.
