I’m gonna miss him but if Cam Payne plays like he did tonight I can handle it

  2. Pat Bev switches teams every year and still acts like he’s been around the longest on every team lmao

Bucks fans gonna love him. His camera to ref tech is one of my all time moments.

You could put Pat Bev in a corporate office and he’d be sitting at the CEO’s desk by 2pm taking phone calls.

He’s was playing the most impactful defence of the game in that moment: stopping Doc Rivers from drawing up the game losing play.

Is doc going to work out in Milwaukee? And is his career pretty much over if this fails?

  7. forgettingsarah

They’re 1-0 with Pat Bev. Coincidence? I think not.

  8. Buck hired an assistant coach as a player.

    Is that legal?

Before people shouting Udon name. He barely played until his last retirement tour

If they like it then good for them. But I would fucking hate having him pesting me like a little jack russell.

  10. People who don’t like Pat don’t like sports.

  11. Player coach Pat Bev while Doc assists just the way it was intended

Fucking legend! Come back to Chicago Pat…

    …I miss you 🥲

Pat Bev “my guy, it’s the fuckin hornets. Get rid of this bs clipboard.”

  14. MuletownSoul

Every fanbase should get the Pat Bev experience.

  15. Sheriff-Gotcha

    I miss him already.

Cam Payne having a solid game tonight was fun, but I do love Pat’s enthusiasm for the game.

  16. KillerWhalePP

Pat bev is good at knowing when the camera is on him.

  17. PrancingDonkey

I aspire to have even 30% of the confidence Pat Bev has.

  18. So you’re saying 5 minutes with Pat Bev feels like 5 months?

  19. footsplash420

I used to hate Pat Bev but now I just respect what he does with what he’s been given

It’s pretty gross how much this dude constantly forces it for the sake of image. No one with any real clout and winning experience is taking this seriously because whilst Beverley is an NBA vet, he’s never won shit. The Bucks are not a young team. They are made up of veterans, and 4 of their top 5 were on the Bucks’ title team. That’s something that PatBev has never gotten close to. He can’t teach them anything of value, and he shouldn’t need to be the loudest voice in the huddle. If he is, they’re inherently fucked.

I know PatBev wants to win, but coming in and grabbing the clipboard and barking out orders on your first day… that’s too much. Anyone in any real organization is rolling their eyes at this clown because that’s what he is – a clown.

I’m speaking here mostly as a person with experience working in large organizations. As a basketball fan, and a Lakers fan in particular, I can say that PatBev was great for what we needed during that short stint with our team… but on a team with real talent, you don’t want him being the loudest one in the room. There’s no accountability with him – it’s all bravado and it wears people on the team down over time. There’s simply only so much of his shit that any person can reasonably take. He comes off as too much of a cartoon character, and not enough of a real guy that you want to fight for. If your locker room is strong enough and your talent pool is deep enough, you can have him as a sidekick to inspire you in those moments of need. If you are actually relying on him in any material way, shape or form, you are also inherently fucked.

All that being said, it’s one day… so maybe it’s fine. If he continues to do this shit on the Bucks, I can guarantee that the team is going to be rolling their eyes at him and it won’t go over well.

The lack of self awareness this dude has is next level. He thinks he’s HIM. Nobody listens to a damn word this guy got to say.
