A double double performance let’s send it over to Savannah Hamilton yeah it came down to the very final stretch in this game but you guys battled defensively last week when you played Houston you guys gave up 84 points in the paint tonight it was just 38 what was the team adjustments

Defensively uh I mean we just needed to be ready for it to be honest like uh be more aggressive in our shifts like really take on the challenge like we knew last game that they wanted to uh attack the paint we just didn’t do a good job defending it and this time

Around it was more of a focus for us and and you could see the the difference out there on the court it’s been a year to the day that you’ve arrived back in Toronto from San Antonio throughout all the changes that you’ve seen this team make how have you been able to find

Success and have performances like you did tonight uh I mean you just got to stay ready like this it’s been a hell of a year uh a lot of stuff going on from highs to lows to trades to uh what feels like a completely new team uh but yeah

Like I said just trying to stay ready trying to stay focused um and trying to do my job out there and now that we’re past trade deadline how good does it feel to know that this is the group that you can lock in with for the rest of the

Season uh yeah it’s nice um not going to lie it’s it’s difficult to play when you feel like you have a different roster every every other week uh but um we try to stay up today like we try to um make the best out of a difficult situation
