I’m wondering if trading Royce was a sign Marks doesn’t feel great about acquiring Mitchell. Usually you would want to hang onto guys that’re close with the player you’re trying to attract.
I could see him pivoting to Kat who may come at a cheaper price, is from the area, you can play him next to Claxton, and same age as Bridges.
For what it’s worth, out Phoenix’s five second rounders we got the three best ones by far. The two we didn’t get were heavily protected, we got three unprotected picks at least
We need to give Jalen Wilson a full rookie scale contract like Memphis gave to GG Jackson.
Kind of excited to see how this team looks with a real starting PG in Schroeder. Hopefully, Vaughn let’s him start and Ben goes back to the bench where he’s best.
This team will not make the play in. They made a lateral move. Schroeder DSJ and Simmons are going to hate each other.
There’s additional reporting coming out that the nets turned down our 24 and 26 picks and the 25 swap for mikal. I honestly think that is just as bearly as bad of a decision as the kg pierce trade. I really cannot believe we did that.
