This Keeps Getting Better…

This is huge for the Toronto Raptors because the two newest Acquisitions for this team Kelly oin as well as OSI abaji have spoken out on joining the Toronto Raptors and their comments how much they’re embracing the team and how they’re embracing the future of this organization makes this trade look more

And more like a win for the Toronto Raptors the more I hear so we’re going to break down what they had to say their comments on joining the Toronto Raptors and how it sort of shifts our perspective on this trade going forward but before we to that folks again over

56% of our viewers are not subscribed to the channel and we want to keep you up to dat with all of the latest Toronto Raptors news so make sure you hit that subscribe button so you can stay up to date with everything regarding this Toronto Raptors team but obviously we

Just went through one of the craziest trade deadlines in Toronto Raptor history at least you know trade Seasons if you count the ogn anobi Pascal cakam stuff there’s no doubt about it m you cooked here he cooked here he cooked this off this uh season completely shift

In the roster some guys some fans were looking to still get dealt but the newly look Toronto Raptors team definitely has me excited watching Toronto Raptors basketball again now if they start losing games getting blown out the game against the Cavs tonight should be fairly exciting to see how this group

Does against one of the hottest teams in the entire NBA but and we’ll also get to see our two new acquisitions that could have a serious impact on this squad and they think so as well so we’ll break down what their comments uh are saying regarding joining the Raptors team

Basically baji he first spoke and said I feel like there’s another part of my game that I can show I feel like Darko knows that as well and MSU jery understands that really it’s all about opportunity and I feel like I have a good opportunity here I’m ready for this

And I feel like there’s a new Fresh Start that’s happening now when the Detroit Pistons trade away their wing to the uh sorry the Utah Jazz trade away their wing as Simone to the Detroit Pistons there’s a lot of jazz fans I scoured through their red I looked at

Some of their takes trying to get a feel about aaji and what impact he could have and basically what the fans were saying yes he took a little bit of a step back during his SE second season in his NBA career but you know with the trades with

The moves that sort of happened leading up to the deadline Utah Jazz fans are pretty pumped to see this sort of breakout opportunity the opportunity for osai to come out and properly take his game to the next level with an extended role with more opportunity the offense

Obviously is a two-way guy has shown a ton of potential and oan knows that there is a part of his game that can get unlocked and now with the Toronto Raptors obviously the team is loaded at his position right now Gary Trent Jr RJ Barrett Bruce Brown all shooting Grady

Dick another shooting guard and then just in terms of the Guard rotation Scotty’s going to be playing some PG Emanuel quickley is there there’s a lot of guys that do play that position however the Raptors are F Jordan War you know the the list goes on and on and on

But the Toronto Raptors are prioritizing that development and this acquisition of a baji is a guy that clearly could have some potential on this team and is going to get some minutes on this Raptor Squad significant amount of run whether it’s Off the Bench or if there’s injuries

That happen he might even be a starter some given night so I’m pumped to see what the Tron Raptors could do to unlock his game because again he’s a shooter that’s a remarkable athlete that man is yolked one of the more chisel guys in the entire NBA he’s still a very young

Dude I mean you take an athlete like that that has shown some promise shooting the basketball and you really give him opportunities to make mistakes to go out there on the court and have confidence that the coaching staff believes in them the team believes in them and all these types of things I

Mean that is a recipe for Success so I’m potential I’m hyped to see you know him potentially take a leap forward now with this Raptor’s group he also came out and discuss Scotty Barn saying I love his energy his development and his jump and his jump this year has been awesome now

Being on the same team with him I want to make him better and I feel like he can make me better too so he’s talking about his development how the Raptors are developing guys they did with Scotty Barnes and the potential fit between those two dudes I mean I love that

Approach I love that sort of embracing the Raptors top star and Scotty is that star now he’s that guy that is an All-Star for the Toronto Raptor he’s the number one option sure fans are already turning on him because he’s not having the greatest of uh immediate impacts you

His efficiency going down he looks a little bit you know different with the focus of the defense on him night in night out but I mean I I like to see oh pump to be playing with Scotty Barnes here now at this point so that’s another

Thing that’s great to see and then Kelly the guy that is probably the most notable name in this trade even though the I think the trade package was Cent around aaji Kelly oin is going to have a future with this group and his comments sort of indicate that basically news

Raptor Kelly oin basically said it’s a full circle moment for him it’s really cool to look back and how Monumental the Raptors have been in his life to be putting on this jersey uh these shirts and hats and stuff it’s something that you can’t put into words and obviously

Kelly oenux a Canadian been a raptor fan growing up there’s pictures I should have screenshot of him in Raptors covers sort of growing up as a kid so you know to play for your favorite team your childhood favorite team you know the fan the the squads you’re rooting for the

Same way we root for them you know 247 then be able to Dawn that Jersey is a big moment for Kelly oen and he went on to say about how his mom was a scorekeeper here that his dad was an associate coach for the Raptors for a year just being in the driveway

Pretending you’re a raptor growing up used to fall asleep at night with the alarm radio listening to fan90 of Chuck sworski so a proper Die Hard there break out the salami and cheese basically oenux said he heard his name tied to a bunch of different teams but the Raptors

Didn’t come into play until just before the deadline really wasn’t until Jake fiser really discussed how uh you know the Raptors could potentially trade Bruce Brown and then Kelly oin as well as oai going that way so he called that big time but there wasn’t a lot of talk

About Kelly oen potentially joining the Toronto Raptors so interest in how quickly sort of things developed along those lines but basically I didn’t know how serious it was until it heated up and I was super excited they’ve been on each other’s radar for a while so that’s

A that’s a pretty cool thing to see right Kelly oen wanting to be on the Toronto Raptors the Raptors targeting him again you know we’ve heard some speculation some Rumors in the past by KCK but nothing too too crazy hasn’t been you know in the rumor mill like a

Miles Turner or Paul Milsap you know deep in years past but definitely a longtime guy that wrapped fans have W it giving his roots to Canada and you know a guy that Embraces Team Canada basketball and is one of the most underrated guys in the entire NBA so

That’s huge to see and this is a big quote I would love to be here the rest of my career if that plays out and Kelly o lenck I get people that are frustrated with this trade because Kelly o Len’s older why would you do this yada yada y

Kelly o Len is a guy that sure he’s going to be 33 years old when his contract is up next season eight points per game five rebounds four assists 56% from the field 43% from behind the three-point Arc 48 80 48 84% from behind the free throw line I mean Kelly oin is

A stretch big man that is mobile that no no one’s going to accuse him of being the most elite rim protector in the entire NBA but he’s Fleet of foot he’s a guy that facilitates in the offensive end to be a backup big on this Raptor

Group a guy that wants to be on the Toronto Raptors through a season maybe a season and a half of a potential rebuild retooling whatever we want to call this you know vet that’ll be in the locker room won’t be disgruntled won’t be mad that could actually be extremely

Valuable to this Raptors group I mean just a couple seasons ago he was averaging 19 points per game for the Houston Rockets before trades ended up happening he bounced around different places I mean Kelly oen can have a serious impact on this Raptor’s team and you know especially we’re Knights where

Ke he’s going to play every single game he’s not going to be one of those like deep bench you know utility players like that he’s young or anything like that but when ke when when guys like yaka purle go down with injury we saw how bad the Raptors looked without a center

Kelly Al can easily slide in and be a starting caliber center for the Toronto Raptors so that’s uh that’s huge for this team and again I’m excited to see this squad as well right Kelly o lenck it’s going to add a whole another dimension to this group and the fact

That he wants to be here longterm wants to play out the rest of his career with the Toronto Raptors that is a great thing to see so that’s awesome and then obviously you know ohai being a guy that’s only 23 years old 24 you know by

The end of the Season Five Points three rebounds two one assist the stats aren’t really going to be indicative because he’s gonna get more and more of an opportunity with the Toronto Raptors this season but let me know what you guys think about all this torono Raptors

News you guys the best make this far subscribe to the channel if you guys haven’t already anyways you guys are the best I’m signing out cheers

  1. Why doesn't SB give post game interviews? He's the face of the team now. I want to see an all bench line up with Olynyk, Boucher, Agbaji, Dick, Brown. Raps current roster (2 open roster spots):

    CP: Poeltl/Olynyk/Porter (Two-Way)
    PF: Barnes/Nwora/Boucher
    SF: Barrett/Dick/McDaniels
    SG: Trent Jr/Agbaji/Temple/Freeman-Liberty (Two-Way)
    PG: Quickley/Brown/Nowell (Two-Way *Injured)

  2. Everyone freaks out about how new players say glowing things about the Raptors organization and their fans and are happy to join the team. What do they expect them to say? 99% of players are going to say they love the team and the city they were traded to. It's the classy thing to say, and more importantly–you don't bite the hand that feeds you! This team had to deal the other 1% when we received Goran Dragic from the heat. That classless idiot wasn't smart enough to give what should've been obvious answers. Hell even good players that are traded to bottom feeders know enough to act enthusiastically.

  3. people really have to stop moving RJ to small forward, he is a SG, one of the reasons he struggled in NY is because he was playing out of position.

  4. It's a very rare thing for this organization to have good players in this league, who want to be here, and will play with pride when they don that Raptors jersey.
This is not LA, Miami, or soon to be Vegas, news flash American basketball players don't want to play in Toronto, this team is going in a good direction, and all the haters just need to shut the F up!

  5. I'd like to see the raptors step it up now and end up as the 8th seed in this year's playoffs…then I'd like to see IQ and RJ redeem themselves by beating the brakes off the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. No need to tank when success is close at hand.

  6. I think it's more exciting to watch what the future holds for this team than waiting to see how raptors teams of year's past would frequently disappoint.

  7. It makes me happy that Olynyk is so excited to be on the raptors. Maybe he'll take a team friendly deal next season

  8. I love your enthusiasm but if they don’t start tanking to keep that pick, I find it hard to cheer for them

  9. People forget that we made the ECF in 2016 with an end-of-career Luis Scola starting at the 4. Kelly O's game will age even better.

  10. They obviously had a – wink, wink – contract chat before the trade. He probably has two or three good years left. Nice to see him as a good vet on this young team.

  11. Scottie is tired. His shots are almost always falling short. I think his legs are getting cooked. Hopefully with these additions his minutes can scale back a bit

  12. Olynyk is not only a great and aggressive player but a little hockey-like as well. He causes injuries and say ," what me ? I didn't do anything".

  13. Jazz fan. We’re going to miss Kelly, he was a all about the team. He made us better when he was out there on the court. I hate the trade. But I’m super stoked that he he’s playing for good home country. We called him the clinic with a k lol 😂 will miss you Kelly but I’m sooo happy for you. Thank you for all you did for Utah. You were a team player a tough guy. Always will be a fan of yours. Hated to see you go but I’m glad that you got to go where you really wanted to go. Hope they sign you long term.

  14. In the offseason, I wonder if we can trade Brown for Dillon Brooks. Slowly build team Canada here😂

  15. Given what a college player has to endure in his first two years of the NBA, I expect ALL NBA rookies in their 2nd year to have a down year just by what they had to endure in two years. Put yourself in their shoes – you grind all your life, your final year of eligbility you declare and sweat that you get drafted. You're drafted, tossed into the Summer League or G-League right away. Then you're hopefully on the bench or on the court right away, so you've gone from busting to immediately into the NBA with that stuff in between with no break. Play the entire year and then crash and go wow time for a breather by the 2nd summer which then puts you behind the 8ball when year 2 starts because instead of you doing your regular routine during the summer you're so burrnt out from running a gauntlet in two years that it's probably only natural to ease off on the grind that following summer. Year 3 is where you determine if the player is really going to be a player in the NBA or if he's going to fizzle out. Crazy logic, I know.

  16. I have no problem with Kelly Olynk coming to Raptors. What baffles me is the conveniently inconsistent narrative around a players age and his ability to fit in Scottie's timeline. Siakam, who is a few years younger than Olynk was too old, yet Olynk is not too old? 😂 It's high time Raptors fans realize that MLSE makes ALL It's decisions on players based on what it's going to cost them. Once a player becomes eligible for a significant contract he becomes disposable Check the receipts over the last decade and prior.😂

  17. We wanted a younger center. It just wasn't there.. So Kelly fills in that spot .. he plays with lots of energy.. I'm very happy with this trade
