notice how great claxton was tonight now that he has an actual PG lobbing to him?
expect a major resurgence in his production.

Have to give Marks credit. Flipping Spencer in his worst year ever into Dennis was good GM work.
He also has a nice flexible contract. He’s an asset on two levels.

I’m all for unbridled optimism, so I’ll start with that:
1) He’s a true PG, not a combo like Dinwiddie. He can facilitate and get his teammates involved.
2) He’s an optimal stop gap for the time being, and IMO better (for what the Nets need) than what any potential D’Angelo Russell trade could have given Brooklyn.
That said, this was San Antonio. They are a bottom 4 squad this season.
