Amazing what just a few moves can do to juice up what looked like a dead squad just a month ago. Seeing them just a game back of Washington and three behind Charlotte is incredible after the misery of the losing streak!

From being on pace to worst in history to not being the worse in the whole league is quite a big step. The team is basically guaranteed to not hit the other records of losing. It's the place you can only go up a franchise in this position wants to be.
I feel like Washington and Charlotte are purposely tanking because having a horrible season still isn't bad as having the longest losing streak or tying it. And there's about a handful of difference makers in the draft and because the draft gods hate Detroit, being close to their record should give them a better than Detroit.

Here me out but the Pistons are gonna be good next year! You got a big 3 currently with Cade, Ivey and Duran, then you can add a top 3 player in the draft and make it a big 4 all the Pistons gotta do in the offseason is surround them with good role players!
Pistons continue to be robbed. Piston 7-7 FT's but scored 68 points in the Paint. Clippers 26 -27 FT and 34 PIP. This is the refs. Wait until Grimes Join the team.
I think at this point the pistons won't end up as the worst team in NBA history. They are slowing progressing and figuring it out. It'll be interesting to compare the results of the first half of the season versus the second half.
