I mean i don't think OKC will make the finals but how are we even questioning whether or not Shai is a superstar yet? Dude is absolutely a superstar, Might even win MVP this year, If Embid is out then i believe he is most deserving, Having a superstar on your team doesn't mean your making the finals tho, I believe OKC still lacks the overall experience, But keep this young core growing and within the next couple years i think they'll make it.
Imo they are literally the Baby Thunder 2.0 from 2012. I don't know if they'll hold up against teams with more play-off experience.
I’m hoping that as an organisation we have matured we’ve been in a similar situation not long ago with Russ kd harden I’m hoping even if the run isn’t this year we manage our assets well enough to be a consistent playoff presence over the next 5 years
