Jaylen Brown Reacts to Duncan Robinson Calling His Foul DIRTY | Celtics vs Heat

Jaylen can you take us through the issue with dunan Robinson it seemed like he was kind of holding on to your arm after he fouled you and you just kind of threw him off can you what happened and did you are you okay with with with what went down and the the

Flagrant yeah I’m okay with it I think uh it was no issue for me I think he knew exactly what he was trying to do trying to get tangled up um Etc cuz he didn’t want to play defense and you know they called the foul but he was still

Trying to hang on so I was trying to get my arm free is Joe said he likeed the friction and is there a point where you’ve gota when guys are being a little bit overly physical with you you got to say like I can’t I’m not taking this anymore like

I’m just I’m going have to enforce force it myself yeah especially you know Miami is known for you know being physical Miami’s known for getting away with a lot of that stuff kind of mucking up the game and you know at the end of the day

You got to protect and own your space feel like Duncan Robinson knew what he was doing there um trying to get tangled up and trying to draw whatever what I don’t know what he was trying to do but I bet you he won’t do it again well in the fourth quarter you

Guys were really going after Robinson and he was like fighting to deny position all that kind of stuff uh usually against teams you can kind of find the Cross Match you want and just kind of go at it in crunch time but Miami made you guys work for it so how

Did you guys work through that and try to find the best outcome who who’s it for uh vir uh just think just playing the right way just reading the game I think we’ve been playing a lot of intentional basketball which I think is going to pay

Off I think you know in a regular season is where you build habits and I think we’ve been trying to beat a smarter team night in and night out um tonight you know they have some players that defensively um we could take advantage of and I feel like we majority of the

Game we tried to get to those positions and those spots um KP got his position uh early and he was able to take advantage of those matchups and that stuff that we look to do Jo Joe said to us he he like particularly actually liked when you and

Duncan were having words with each other at the free throw line after he just liked seeing that fire what was that interaction kind of about I don’t think it was anything special you know what I mean I I don’t really have a comment on it I

Think we just you know two teams playing hard trying to figure out how to win and I think he was trying to get his team motivated right there and you know I was ready to move on to the next play Chris what what happened with your

With your back when you went out and what was kind of the process of getting back in there and how are you feeling now uh I want to answer the last question a little bit to be honest like when they got into it again I kind of

Liked it like it got the whole crowd into it it was like it was a good atmosphere so I think um that was good and my back is fine I got a little bit like bump from bam on a rebound just kind of like nothing serious yeah just

Went went to the back like made sure it was good warmed up again and and all good what did that altercation christops do for the group and all of you showing the the Poise but also a fire from that point on no I love it I love it I think

We have to um take those like moments those emotional moments in a good way like make us like fired up but controlled you know we have to stay controlled and because that’s their game they need us to react to something or they need us so we we as JB said we own

Our space but we don’t have to react back they have to do that to mix up the game to make something happen and I think we just have to be smart in those situations but but show that we were right there you’re new to this rivalry

What is it like to be a part of and how important is it for you guys to experience this now looking at the playoffs yeah I knew like we all knew going into this game um that’s you we’re going up against coach bolra and Miami Heat they’re going to remember the last

Game what happened and they’re going to come out you know with a game plan and and they want to beat us as much as we want to beat them and and it was going to be a it was going to be a fight especially a big game on national TV all

This and it was a it was a war and it was it was fun and uh most importantly that we came out with a win and proved Who We Are Christ how do you feel like you’ve been able to impact this match up the amount of Zone they throw at you just the

Pockets you’re able to find the openings you’re able to find against their defense to be honest I’m just playing my game I think uh the more time I’m spending with these guys on the court they we we all just getting real comfortable with each other and we

Knowing they’re knowing my Spots I’m I’m finding them whenever there is some extra help coming or or double teams or whatever and we try to make the game easy for each other we play selflessly and and when we do do that it’s it’s a headache for the other

Team Chris ABS you got hit in a tough spot uh late second quarter and then you got called for the foul like how did you bounce back what was that feel I mean did you think about leaving the game like what was what was going through

Your mind other than pain no to be honest I wanted to challenge it you know see if we could get something but um I guess the thought was that you know I kind of did bump him first a little bit so the foul would have stayed Maybe we

Could have gotten something you know un Sportsman like or something like this but to be honest you know this these kind of plays happen and they’re going to happen probably even much more in playoffs you know all kinds of stuff is going to go down so um I don’t know if

It was on purpose but definitely got hit in in there and um uh but yeah it is what it is you know we we keep playing thank you guys that’s one more question

Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis reacted to the scuffle with Duncan Robinson and the Celtics’ win vs the Heat.

  1. Man F… Y… an y’all ain’t dirty an get away with it an you ain’t know what you was doing an please my boy nobody ain’t scared of you trust me

  2. 😂😂😂 don't mess with Jaylen..Bam be trying to take Porzingis out, last game his foot, this game his family jewels then bumping him. Bam knows how important Porzingis is great for our team.

  3. When's the last time we've seen Tatum n Brown do an interview together??

I'm telling you.. they don't get along frfr

  4. I don’t care what anyone says. That was a dirty play by JB. Celtics have always been a dirty team. It’s time for us to realize it.

  5. Miami doesn't have the talent of the other top Eastern teams so they have to play grittier than other teams and the refs let them get away with it

  6. I love that the Celtics were wearing Bill Russell #6 warm up tees. I think that was intentional. I have not seen them wear them this year.

  7. Porzingis loves this! And so do we! Porzingis approve ✅☘️☘️☘️ forget what they think, lets keep it going!

  8. "Cheat Culture" always be holding, hacking, playing dirty and yucking up the game. That's the only way that G-league roster wins at all. Test the Refs inability to call everything.

  9. KP’s smile when JB said “I betcha he won’t do it again” made me so happy to see. These two here are the duo I never knew we needed!!!

  10. I like KP. Nice mindset and smart dude. Good reality check for Celtics as they have been a bit complacent with the super weapons they have this year. Refs let the Heat slap and swipe, Adebayo illegal screens where JB was not responding well enough with 6 TOs, & JT took 0 FTs for first 44 mins. They have to be able to overcome this in the playoffs esp if 1-2 key players are out. Mazulla has to figure this out this time around.

  11. I wasn't Jalen Brown fan last I said I was a Jalen brown fan last year right? And his whole career. You know it's funny right? He gets paid and now he's a little b** I bet you he won't do that s*** in the street. He in about that life. I'm not saying that I am but hey, how would you like to have your arm broken by a little b** I'm glad Duncan's okay what's up

  12. I mean you might have some personal stuff going on in your life. I'm going to pray for you and your family man. I don't know what the f*** wrong with you though bro. Jalen like for real bro, maybe you can come out after you think about what you did man. Which by the grace of God nothing happened cuz come on man you would have been suspended for how long? Lost a couple dollars right bro. Come on man beat you're better than that!

  13. Tough loss for the Miami Refs…
    I mean Heat.

The Lakers or 76ers would’ve had 40 free throw attempts in that game.
Celtics? 17. NBA refs continue to be an absolute travesty.

  14. Robinson (Mr No Defense) knew EXACTLY what he was doing.
When you can't play straightup defense, you try to muck up the game to make yourself relevant.
It didn't work. Jaylen tried to teach him to stop the BS; just play basketball without the slick stuff.
But he almost lost an arm for his cheap shenanigans. He's such a fake testosterone crybaby.

  15. Bro-zingis is a great duo. Elite, smart, high bball IQs. Love that JB does a lot less iso ball this season because he trusts KP 🦄 can finish his passes.

  16. absolutely love this duo. knew KP would be good for us on the floor, but who knew he'd be such an amazing locker room guy.

  17. Struggle win against the Jimmy butler less heat… TRASH!!!! This team reached their ceiling. Definitely not winning the chip to predictable and no real leader on that team just a pretty boy and a overpaid mid player with a 7 foot defensive liability

  18. I feel like Kristaps has had a twisted career path and has found himself in plenty of bad situations on various teams but now he understands that he's in an ideal situation. Life is finally easy for him and he's enjoying every minute of it.
