I hear the big issue in Charlotte is being under talented, so this seems logical.

Dude waived Kai Jones & Bouknight and said i’m done

Hopefully that franchise can hire somebody competent to run their basketball ops for once. Also smart to get rid of the GM before they inevitably fire Clifford this offseason. Let the new regime pick their guy

Changing of the guard. Hoping the organization gets the right man to lead the franchise to success

  6. Well he went out with a good deadline. It’s clear they need some new blood in the F.O. though.

They sucked before hiring him. Let’s see how the new ownership group handles things. Mitch hasn’t done many great things over the last few years but he did plenty great for the Lakers. Would be fun if Charlotte can finally be relevant

  8. Honestly surprised that the dude who gave Deng and Mozgov their big paydays was still working as a head of basketball operations nearly a decade later

They’re not in a terrible position moving forward. Next couple years will be a lot of losing but I’m rooting for Charlotte.

He’s been living off the coattails of his Lakers heyday.

That picture looks like a clip from a hostage video.

At least their trade deadline was solid.

  13. Drafting Melo, Mark, and Miller has set us up for future success so at least he did that but outside of drafting his tenure was rough. Still the NBA’s about stars and we have a few cause of him. Now, let’s hope they can actually be on the floor together next year with another top 5 pick and some good vets.

I don’t see the ad for the position yet, I wonder if they are hiring an internal candidate. Lol

Thank u for doing this after the trade deadline

  16. The PJ and Hayward trade was a nice parting gift.

“The first thing I would do is get rid of Miles Bridges”

    “You’re hired”

Picked Brandon Miller, will forever be thankful for that.

Enjoy semi-retirement Mitch, what a career.

What GMing the Hornets does to a MF. Bro looks likes he just arrested for a DUI.
