Maxi’s gotten a lot of shit over the years, but I don’t see how you can watch him on defense and not think he’s extremely valuable for us.
Hopefully the toe is okay for the rest of the season.
He’s so unappreciated here, glad our boy is back.
Maxi being good again is huge for us. Never has an extension went from being viewed as a mistake to being a huge bargain in such little time lol. Now he doesn’t have to play big minutes and can be careful with him to save him for the playoffs.
After he got a few games under his belt after injury he’s legitimately looked like his old self. He’s playing confident. So glad the old maxi is back! I really thought he was cooked with all those injuries
Back from the grave!
As a healthy PF he’s great, as an injured c he’s dogshit
Maybe it is just that lob to Green but I am generally most surprised by Maxi’s assist numbers.
He’s the biggest story in this particular moment to me. He looked finished as an NBA player and now suddenly the last couple weeks he’s had this resurgence that I wasn’t expecting at all. Great defense, has made some threes, has looked competent even making some plays here and there, even rebounding which he’s always been terrible at.
I love his confidence since his return. He is attacking the basket way more and is actually able to score
Maxi has been so good lately. It suddenly feels like we’re extremely deep with injured guys coming back and playing well and with our new dudes. Just need Exum back (I’m assuming Lively will be fine once his nose is ready to go)
I thought he was absolutely washed defensively but seems like he was still injured at the start of the season.
I like not having to play guys that are 32+ years old high minutes (really goes for everyone but especially for our older players). Now we have some depth and can keep Maxi fresher for the playoffs.
I like him way over Powell. We need big men specially against Nuggets.
