I know the game was rough, but can we give it up for Precious?

8 points, 17 rebounds (9 offensive), 3 blocks, and a +3 in 38 minutes. He gave it everything he had tonight for a depleted Knicks frontcourt. If not for some questionable reffing, his block would have sent the game to overtime. This guy has been so valuable to the Knicks, and he’s arguably one of their most important players at the moment. When the dust clears, we’ll remember this gutsy string of games he’s played with fondness.

Great game for him but its too early dawg everyone is livid rn which sucks because he deserves the recognition

  2. This man single-handedly keeps us in these games. I would have never expected him to be such a vital part during this injury stretch. Super underrated part of that trade we made. I just wish he could shoot threes better

  3. ObviousAnswerGuy

This game isn’t close without him. Precious has played his fucking ass off since Randle has been hurt. This dude has earned his place on this team.

say it with me, “he’s younger than Sims”

  5. Midnight_Smokr

Precious is unbelievable. The man’s a stud.

  6. NYImpact414

I should point out that he is averaging 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks since the Randle injury. Just outstanding production from a player considered a throw-in to the OG deal.

    this game wasnt “rough”

it was fraudulent. call out fraud when you see it.

  8. PharoahFits

I remember after the trade everyone referred to dude as a “throw in”

  9. Forward_Ride_6364

This brother played like a prime Dwight Howard tonight

    This loss hurts A LOT

I’m proud of him. So many offense rebounds and dude got hacked the entire day, no calls

Hes genuinely awesome. Played great defense on Sengun most of the night. If he can work on his corner 3 and just be league average that would be huge.

I hope when everyone gets healthy he stays in the rotation come playoff time

Does thibs give an invisible +10 rebounding and defense stat to his starting center? What’s going on I thought precious was supposed to be clueless.. he’s been a defensive anchor

  14. SpeelingBeeChamp

Really impressed how he still played solid defense, grabbing rebounds, and blocking shots while in foul trouble throughout most of the 2nd half. I could hear Thibs through the TV yelling “PRECIOUS… 4 FOULS!” all night.

  15. illusive_capybara

it’s gonna be tough moving him and ihart back to the bench once jules and mitch come back. i think ihart starts over mitch but precious definitely deserves big minutes once the team is healthy

The best Knicks teams were built on the backs of scrappy, hard-nosed, tough power forwards.

  17. We literally got robbed . I have no idea how you make that call . It’s one thing if it’s a one point lead or 2 pt lead . But the game is tied . You don’t call it unless it’s 100% sure . Send it to OT .

Dudes an absolute menace and I don’t know if he just didn’t vibe with Toronto, but he plays like he’s on a permanent 10 day contract. Love the hustle and effort from a guy that I thought was a throw in.

He’s been really damn good, when everybody’s back, Thibs is gonna have a tough decision to make about his 9 man rotation stuff. Might need to expand it to 10 to get Precious some backup 4 minutes. Run the usual starting 5 with Brunson/Donte/OG/Julius/iHart, but run that bench unit with Hart, Bogie, Precious, Mitch, and one of Burks or McBride.

Screamed MY PRECIOUS for 48 minutes in Houston tonight. This guy’s hustle is amazing.

Raps fans initially had me bamboozled that he wasn’t any good. Meanwhile he out here playing like an absolute dog

  22. ephemeral2316

Precious and Hartenstein are a serviceable front court tandem. But they’re asking him to do a big job out there with Hartenstein out

  23. NaughtyDirtily

His first few games w/ us was atrocious, he couldn’t handle a pass and looked like hot garbage. I’m happy to be wrong

  24. Raps fan. In the minority over there, but I was gutted to lose him. He’s always dynamic and just a fun guy to root for. He’s either on the highlight reel or the bloopers, no in between. Gives it all he has, which, with his insane athleticism, can be considerable. Glad he’s showing up for you guys.
