Loved this dagger sequence. Klay with the steal, sends it ahead to GPII in transition instead of going for the pull up even though he’d been on fire all 2nd half, but GPII sends it back wanting to give Klay the dagger bucket. 🥹

This was VINTAGE TWO WAY KLAY. Defense to offense.
Warriors legit have so many options on offense now, besides Steph. JK,Klay,Wiggs can all be secondary scoring options besides Steph, and GP2 and Podz chip in with an additional 10+ PTS each. CP3 coming back soon too. Not to mention Dray, who’s actually been a threat on offense this season.
Also Steph pointing for Klay to take the shot even tho Curry just scored back to back 3s at that point.

Steph telling Klay to shoot it is absolutely why he’s the type of leader any player would want to play for. Steph was absolutely cooking in the 4th and he still pointed at Klay to take that shot when Klay was looking to pass it to him

You can see klay’s confidence is shot. Usually he takes that shot no hesitation after a pass like that but it might also be that he just wants to make the right plays now
That might be the best case of “Steph creating an open shot for Klay just by existing” I’ve ever seen
