You seemen the the team’s defense was very off tonight and there might have been a lack of intensity do you feel that from from your guys um that was uh lack of effort that was lack of intensity that was uh lack of focus uh all of that from the start of the game

Uh way too many turnovers they leaded to easy points and easy scores uh from the start of the game they ended up scoring 32 points out of uh uh you know now our 19 turnovers and uh that was something that that was the game in in a nutshell

You know you can miss shots uh you can have a off night with with shooting but uh your effort and your defense and rebounding that has to be and playing with pride that has to be there every night I think when banana might have got

In their heads a little bit the way he’s protecting the rim that got him out of their comfort zone a little bit what do you think what do you think of his performance uh yes uh early block shots um just uh changed uh our attacking the

Paint uh we hesitant to attack uh we did not shoot the ball particularly well tonight either and uh it just like one one thing trick trickled the next thing and uh um bayama is the player who’s going to play in this league for next uh

15 years so uh we need to figure out how to take and how to play against him and uh definitely player who is unique with his size and and uh shot blocking ability uh so uh we got to do much better job of figuring out how to play

Against that how do you judged this game from Scotty BRS um I thought that he Blended in what in the performance of a whole team and that was uh that was not the standard that we expect he was uh shown on the broadcast going back to the locker with like 10

Seconds left would you CH that up to frustration or maybe a potential learning opportunity for a young player that’s supposed to show some more leadership uh it is uh definitely a learning opportunity for for uh all the players on the team uh from young guys

To to all the vets and uh this is this is not the performance that we want to have there not competitive spirit that we want to have so everybody’s got to look in the mirror and figure out uh uh what we need to do we need to be in our

Shoes we cannot be anywhere else and uh tomorrow is a practice we have a game against Indiana and we got to take care of business we cannot be anywhere else but being our shoes and taking care of business today gr actually LED your team in SC I know you disappointed in the

Effort overall but what did you see from Grady tonight um I I thought that uh offensively he shot the ball well he was able to to to get uh good shots at the three-point line uh defensively um he was he was part of the of the whole team

Uh communication uh uh allowing them to to roll easy to score easy in the paint all of that was on a whole team tonight how would you say like what’s the role for Chris bu on this team and how is he handling I guess you know these dmps right now he is a

Veteran player who’s been uh around the league for a long time uh he needs to stay ready continue practicing and uh staying in in best shape possible and when his numbers are called be ready to to compete and play Help team Grady uh thanks for coming out we appreciate it

Um obviously a frustrating game but you’re in your rookie season you’re going to be learning no matter what win or lose what are your takeaways from tonight’s game um you know I feel like the most important you know advice and a lot of info that I get from the Vets you

Know when I first got here was you know how there’s going to be so many ups and downs you know throughout the whole season and um to obviously enjoy the UPS you know but and learn learn from the Downs in a way so this is definitely a

Down you know the way that we you know came out and played but at the same time you know it’s it’s a learning experience obviously for me the most know I’m coming in as a new guy but um something that we just need to correct for next

Time you did lead the team in scoring which is I think something to build on and uh saying I think it’s five three-pointers what did you like about your game tonight um I mean I think you know the way I try to play is just playing the right way is what i’ you

Know want to be known as and um when the ball comes my way and I have an open shot I’m going to take it and um I think my confidence just comes from the work that I you know prepared for you know leading up to games and um it the team

Makes it so much easier when you got guys that move the ball as we do and that are unselfish and you know if I’m going to get it you know they know that they’re going to get it right back so it’s an unselfish mindset that we got to have and we do

Have fets always talk about you know flushing a game like this you know forget about it by tomorrow do you have a specific way that you do that um I mean personally I think it’s just I guess it kind of goes with shooting you know keeping that short-term memory is

You know whatever shot you you make or miss you know you’re going on to the next possession you don’t really have time to um think about what just happened and it’s kind of the same way as with the schedule of an NBA season that’s I had to learn you know compared

To college where you know you win or lose a game in college you got the whole week to kind of process that but NBA you’re moving on of the next one um you know luckily we have a day you know where we don’t play tomorrow so that’s

You know another day to get better another day to we do get a little time to you know process this and figure out what we did wrong what we did right and you know help that translate to the game on uh Wednesday and just to be specific

Is I mean is there like a like a an album that you listen to or like like something really specific like that you use to just like lock it up I mean I have I have music on 24/7 so it just be anything but I think I’m excited is you

Know my brother’s in town so um family’s up here every once in a while but not all the time so it’s good to have you know my BR here and where I can you know play video games with him you know just talk to him watch movies with him and

The focus and effort I’m sure he expressed that to you and your teammates as well how can you uh combat that and obviously a big game against the Pacers on Wednesday um just coming out ready to go you know from from the get-go and um

The one thing that you know hats off to um the Spurs what they did you know they’re active the whole game and you know when you come out with that energy it’s hard to know play against if you don’t you know equal that so you know if

We can be the guys that go out there and um just be active you know move the ball um move un selfishly like we have been on offense but on the defensive and just being way more active and stuff like that you know that creates different

Outlets to um score and get stopped so just being active uh and one last one for me uh obviously you’re going to be in the league against Wy for probably your whole careers um what’s it like going up against him special player you know for sure a unicorn um you know you
