[NBA University] Biggest differential between teams’ points per possession after timeouts vs their typical half-court offense. Takeaways?



Basically, how effecient teams are at scoring out of Timeouts, as compared to the Half-Court Offense. Link below

    My takeaway is that we call a ton of timeouts within the first three minutes of a quarter / half if the vibes are off and don’t even necessarily draw up a play. Our offense is very flow-based and I can understand why the flow might be off during our first play out of a timeout.

    Our offense doesn’t even call a ton of plays per Rick. He just let’s Tyrese cook.

    It’s not a shot that we’d do worse coming out of a timeout than we would in the flow of a game.
