Kareem Abdul Jabbar On Stephen Curry Changing Basketball 🤯 #shorts #nbahighlights

The reason that young kids today don’t learn how to shoot hook shots is because everybody is so enamored with the three-point shot so the kids they don’t want two points they don’t want to work with their back to the basket that’s not cool they want to go out there uh in the

Stratosphere and shoot three-pointers when you have people like Stephen Curry I’ve never seen anybody shoot like that so anybody that can shoot like that is uh on a different plane from all the guys that I played against and the people that I saw when I first started

Watching the game in in 1960 and if that is the coming Talent level of uh NBA players they’re going to be forgetting a lot about guys that played in in my era

  1. Steph Curry: is blessed with , 6 arsenal weapons. at his disposal #1 The 3 pointer. (#2.The triple double. Rebound, Pass, and Assist.) #3.High Basketball IQ. #4. Top handles .. #5.top defender when needed… #6.. The Greatest shooter God created…There you go…!!!!

  2. Kareem is so arrogant. I’m not a fan of his. There is more factors. Teams play faster paces. Organizations coach three point shooting now. He sounds like every other disgruntled old timer who overrates their time period just they played

  3. Kareem don't have nothing to worry about the game will rotate back to the big man soon💪🏾but steph the only one who can shot like that and he's not playing forever😂them 3s be dropping tho..

  4. In this era we desperately NEED BOTH!! Appreciate the hook shot, evolve, become better, perfect it, practice it, improve it if you need to.

Same goes for the 3-ball, lay-ups, dunks, free-throws, mid-range, blocks, rebounds, assists, dribbling, handling. We need ALL OF IT in the NBA, Collegiate level, HS level & even grade school. Don't "eliminate" any of it. LEARN from it. You don't have to be multi-dimensional & do it all like MJ, Kobe or Lebron. Practice & Master 1 or 2. Let someone else worry about the rest. If you have the natural talent & skill? Then yes, go ahead & be like a D-rose & dominate but if all you can do is Block, Rebound, Dunk, Dribble or shoot the 3? Focus on just 1 or 2. No one's expecting you to be a superhero & do them all equally.

Dominate at just 1 if you have to, unless you literally possess the capability of perfecting them all. Every position is useful on the court. Play your position & make it your mission. It IS a "TEAM" sport after all….
