Big tests coming up

Okay, Cavs have 30 games left. Tonight vs the Bulls is the end of the “easy” part of the Cavs schedule and then we have an important stretch coming up after the all star break.

18 games

12 against teams above .500

4 back-to-backs

Games against NY, Boston, Minnesota(twice), and Phoenix (Miami twice too).

People have whined about the Cavs getting fat on a weak schedule but going 17-2 (18-2 if we win tonight) is undeniable. This next bit can completely solidify the Cavs as the second seed if we make it through clean. What record are you hoping for over the 18 game stretch and what are y’all going to see from the Cavs in general?

I AGREE GO CAVS

  1. Eh, seems manageable. It’s not like there are many stretches where they don’t get some easier games mixed in.

I think 13-5 is around what I’d expect. 8-10 would be the absolute floor. Ceiling like 16-2?

I see 3 teams on our level. Knicks Celtics timberwolves . The rest they should lose 2-3 max

The thing being lost in the “17-1” discussion about weak opponents, is that the Cavs haven’t been just beating their opponents, they have been blowing out teams.

The style of basketball being played over that stretch has been fantastic. And if they continue to maintain and refine it they are going to fare well against pretty much anyone.

  4. Hope DWade plays. He gonna be needed this stretch

I genuinely believe we have a somewhat reasonable chance to win 60 games rn

Boston , Knicks , Minn and to a lesser extent Indi and Heat are the only teams I think have a decent chance to hit us .

We match up defensively well against scoring volume no defense squads like Dallas

I think we are better than the suns right now , and that we take the next game against Philly .

Is we have a good stretch we can win 20 / 25 of these games .
