“I’ve been trying to humble myself a little bit and just accept the challenge, have some humility when it comes to failure.” – DeandreAyton

  1. This article was a good read. Heres another interesting quote.

“It just feels good that they’re trusting me now, just trying to find me the best way they can in pockets and in pick-and-rolls, even in dump offs when they’re attacking the rim,” said Ayton. “I truly appreciate this team for just trying to adapt to me and my style of play. Honestly, I’m playing harder for them. You can see the trust and it’s vice versa.”

Ive definitely noticed that our guards have been a lot better about getting him the ball during this great stretch by Ayton. Whenever he would have a mediocre game a lot of people would point to effort, and yeah thats a part of it, but for a big chunk of the season it felt like DA wasnt a big part of the gameplan and now he is.

  2. Holdahl saw the Jason Quick article and said “hold my beer”

I’m a homer so I appreciate the push back to Quick’s over the top article. Though this may be over the top in the other direction.
