Scottie Barnes tallied 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists for the Raptors. The Pacers improve to 31-25, while the Raptors fall to 19-36.

One can argue that this game shouldn't have been this close, but then again when you're being coached by Rick Carlisle what do you expect? He's not a defensive-minded coach so what happens is you wind up in a lot of close games like this.

Pascal Siakam has been a great addition to the Pacers roster. He brings toughness, intensity and another scorer to the Pacers.
Tonight Indiana shot 41% from the perimeter. In contrast, the Raps only shot 23% from the perimeter. That was the difference in the game.
Great game by the tanking Raptors. Showed a lot of fight in this game compared to the Spurs game.
Side note, that Quinn Buckner announcer for Indiana is the most biased announcer I have heard. nothing but bashing other players and just plain talking nonsense. I still remember him talking trash about Siakam that time when the Raptors had a big comeback a few years back and he was mad salty. Now he treats Siakam as if he never said those things. Never liked this guy, but great game by both teams.
Shoutout to the rook Ben Shepperd. Hit a huge three to get the lead and defended RJ Barrett at the end.

Had this game on the calendar and OG’s too, hopefully he’s healthy when we play him. . Nice to see Spicy 🌶️ p agin. Good bounce back performance from Scottie. We have to let Scottie grow into our leader and let him make mistakes. It’s the only way, we rebuilding anyways. We lost and shouldn’t be surprised.
