Very small sample size but since acquiring PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford, the Dallas Mavericks have led the league in rebounding.

Now add Lively and we have a legit shot to win the rebounding battle every night. The team can bully and overpower smaller teams but still space out and single out big men for mismatches. It’s a wild time

Jesus Christ what a turnaround. Yeah matchups against small teams and bad teams is part of it, but this still never happens before the trades.

Small sample size sure but that’s against a team with wemby and a team with chet

this is great and i don’t mean to say otherwise, but gotta take into account we shot like shit these past few games which leads to more rebounds. the difference is we’re grabbing those now!

Man after seeing Wemby get blocked out and out-rebounded I really believe we can rebound as well as any team. We can really contend.

  6. Every time I hear Fallowell call an ORB I expect him to say, “and with that Daniel Gafford becomes the Mavs all time leader in ORBs”

Did we really get OMax and Gafford for basically just a 2028 first round swap?

One thing i noticed about both of them- when a shot is in the air- they actually look to find their guard and body them out of the rebounding area. Like they aren’t just relying on their height they are actually clearing space which is something JKidd has zero idea how to teach apparently
