[Slater] Warriors after last night: 14-14 at home, 12-12 on the road, 26-26 overall with 30 games left. Steph Curry: “We’re very average. Very average doesn’t get it done in this league.”

  1. And this is with Steph being primarily healthy and still hooping while he’s about to turn 36. Really hope MDJ can cook this offseason so we can have at least 1 last shot of going on a deep run

For such a mid record they’ve had some of the craziest games and clutch moments and OTs and blown leads, etc. Average maybe but certainly not boring.

  3. This is a good, honest .500 basketball team. They play .500 ball goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio basketball. They lost a couple, guess what? They won a couple, too. But they never got too excited or let it go to their head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That’s hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team didn’t have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, balanced it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that was the 2024 Warriors. A good, honest .500 basketball team.

They’re headed to a play-in exit even if Kerr makes the necessary adjustments. West too good and I don’t see a team above them falling off anytime soon.

The starting lineup is slowly getting their shit together after a horrific start to the season. Wiggins has been mediocre for the last 2 months, which is a big step up after being the worst player in the league for the first month. Kuminga replacing Looney in the starting lineup–with Draymond playing the 5–has made them faster on both ends.

Their only hope is that the first unit continues to play well and that Chris Paul’s return allows them to win the non-Curry minutes like they were doing before CP3 went down.

He’s still a top ten player but the team is going nowhere as currently constructed. Does he wanna ride it out with his day 1’s or go some place where  he can actually win another championship

Golden State “2022-2023 Atlanta Hawks” Warriors

Total defensive collapse in the 4th. Kerr made zero coaching adjustments as red hot Powell was left wide open.

Maybe not but they should comfortably be in the playin game. I wouldn’t want to play them there, Mavs better move up those standings

Steph has to play otherworldly offensively for them to have a chance against good teams most games. With klay no longer being a number 2, they don’t have a true second scoring option. kuminga’s a third or fourth option on a good team.

They suck but they’re fun to watch whether you’re a fan or a hater. On any given day you get to see Steph make amazing shots or watch them blow a lead in hilarious fashion.

A lot of teams would actually kill for a .500 road record.

In the Warrior’s last championship was Klay already washed or no? If so, hell of a carry job by Steph.

Klay fucking sold last night. He’s been consistently inconsistent, which mean it’s on Kerr to rein him in and bench him down the stretch and in the clutch.

If game 7 is a coin flip, I’d estimate they could get through a round or two…

Unless they lose the first play in game 😐

I cheered on their last title but I’m very much back to enjoying their demise after all of the Klay antics and Draymond Draymonding. Stayed up to watch last night and wasn’t disappointed. Boys thought the game ended after the Lue ejection apparently.

The Warriors are becoming the San Francisco Giants…
