let's not forget he got a a torn acl and torn achilles. each injury on its own is bad enough but to suffer both in back to back seasons it's actually a miracle he's still in the league let alonestill able to put up numbers like this. But make no mistake those injuries he suffered are no joke that's why he's so inconsistent Klay will likely go 1-8 w/5 points 5 fouls next game.

For those who have no clue of fresh legs, it’s not just about back to backs, he’s the one great pure shooter with elite D that most of you have ever seen in real time and 1 of 2 to ever play in the league but the only one since the 3 ball has been in the league. I know they’ve mentally conditioned most of you to believe a player who only impacts offense is better or more valuable than players who impact both ends but offensive weapons are not better or more valuable than more complete basketball players especially when D is clearly harder to be elite or good at. The dude busting his tail on both ends including allowing Steph to be hid his whole career gets dogged out most of his career when he’s off cause non-ballers, ballers with no D have no clue of what impact on both ends means to the legs. Now imagine Klay’s shooting and scoring if he had been hid on D most of his career and had someone guarding his man for him. Then imagine if the dude being hid his whole career had D and took on the challenges of guarding like sized-players even those that can score. One is a great offensive weapon and the other is a better overall basketball player that will never get his true credit because the nba is business entertainment based which means marketing, image creation and false narratives trump real hoop and real hoop takes. Anything with a target market that’s the masses automatically means dumb that product down

More players need to see and respect what Russ did for the Clippers. He chose to come off the bench and it literally changed everything for the Clippers. If the Warriors can have Klay do the same and improve the team overall, it'll work wonders.
He is older not playing great. It was the best decision to have him play limited minutes and he played at a higher level.
