Hawks vs. Hornets Postgame Press Conference: Quin Snyder
Well we we uh you know obviously we didn’t shoot the ball well and that could cover up some things but we just need to compete more and it’s disappointing because we’ve been doing that and um you know whether we were you know left early for the break
Whatever you wanted to attribute to um it just that that’s not we we can’t we can’t do that we have to we have to compete and you know we had some individual guys doing that um but collectively that was not the case um I know you talked about progress not being
Linear so when you guys seem like you’ve taken this step back just how do you try to I guess fix it well I mean the fix is you know we have to compete and um that part is you know that that competing has to that that’s not linear or not linear
Or flat or you know there’s no geometry that that you attribute to that um we just have to compete collectively and you know if we don’t do that it’s going to feel like it does right now um when you guys come out of the gate strong as you did and then it just
Kind of falls apart whether it’s the calls or just things not going your way um is that just this group needs to collectively reframe their mindset or just well I mean there’s a lot of things that externally can happen that you could point to um that distract you from
You know the way that you have to play and whether it’s officials or you know Clinton o out or Miss shots you know those things in some way shape or form are going to come to you every game you know just a question of degree and uh that can’t be an
Excuse um um you know for the effort that we had tonight it just wasn’t it’s not what we we can’t accept that you know collectively you talk about guys competing like Jaylen and and DeAndre well the the you know everybody’s it’s a collective thing you know and you know
Whether it’s individual players times during the game you know whatever the case may be we have to do it collectively and that that connectivity um it was not there tonight 18 from Brandon Mill in the first half and then eight from him in the second half did you guys kind of throw
Something at him defensively I thought DeAndre you know early on I didn’t think we contested um you know he made some shots um you know I thought DeAndre did a really good job when he guarded him and you know was able to contain him and um made him less comfortable you know I
Think if you allow him to be any player if you allow them to to feel comfortable whether it’s you know you don’t contest as hard as you need to or um you know when they drive you know level them up and um you know hunt did a good job of that okay

An absolute embarrassment
🤡
Put that on the leadership or lack of….
The front office has failed trae young. Trade trae to San Antonio for our picks back. Only way we can fix our mistake and the rebuild will be decent.
Least accountability of any sports team period
The problem is WOKE TONY RESSLER whos invested more time & effort into Woke Agendas than building a Winning Team. Meanwhile the Braves Franchise who refuses to push Woke Agendas & even gets punished by MLB is extremely successful. At least they are "Empowering Players".
Quin looked visibly upset and frustrated. I think he means well. Unfortunately, when we lose the first one to be blamed is the coach. I think Quin is a great coach and has done an excellent job in bringing out the strengths of our team which includes scoring. I think these past two games have been off nights in which the team needs to rally together and figure out how to move forward. I like Quin and our current team. I think we need better defense and consistency. We can make a run when we're on. When the Hawks play great basketball, they're a threat to any team in the league. I think if we're going to place blame on someone it should be the front office. There needs to be a sense of urgency on their end. Trae wants to win now. We have great guys on our team with a coach that seems to truly want to make it work. The front office needs to do more in my opinion by focusing less on profits and more on getting us a chip!
