Gordon Hayward who wasn’t part of your long-term plan and you got a a lowrisk high reward player in Trey man back cuz you’re let’s face it you’re at the point in the season where it’s like let’s just see what our young guys got and you know

We’ll kind of figure out our path from there so this is you know you get a guy that was drafted 18th overall just a couple years ago has was a high potential kind of prospect 63 kind of has a good frame and you’re like let’s just give him a shot what’s the Worst

That Could Happen we’re not going to lose anything by trading Gordon Hayward let’s just see what we got right right and what you’ve gotten in three it’s only three games of course but that’s the good thing about this deal they got another 30 before the off season so what

We’ve gotten in these three games 14 s and seven on 46% from the field and 46% from three that tells me along with watching the game of course you got to watch the game to understand how good they’ve been playing uh that he’s playing effectively in the offense and

They’re three and0 in the stretch and watching them it’s you see Brandon Miller’s shot quality is a little bit better miles Bridges shot quality is a little better like the offense flows a little bit better with him on the floor and they’ve had a couple of wins as a

Result of it and this last game against the Hawks that was their first double digit win of the entire season and he was like 218 and something like he had a really really stat sheet stuffed game and it’s awesome to see because we wouldn’t have seen it in OKC just

Because of how the roster is built so what do you think of Trey man in his performance and his his long-term potential what do you think will get from him because now he’s in a situation in Charlotte that really is just perfect for him because it’s like we’re not

Winning any playoff series soon let’s just run you out there you’re going to get a whole lot of burn you’re going to get to show the NBA what you can do you’re going to show us what you can do are you somebody that could be part of

Like a young core that has Brandon Miller and lamelo ball on it are you somebody that could fit in there and I think that he’s big enough as a guard being and he’s like 6’3 and above and lamelo being a tall guard they could kind of play together I’m kind of

Interested to see how that would look because I think you finally would have another creator with lamelo that plays within the flow of an offense and doesn’t just shot Chuck um but that would also help Brandon Miller right because so many times we see these young

Guys that like are just out there with trash but Trey man stepped into a team that was dwindling away and the the roster has been elevated I think that’s that’s that’s not a coincidence and overall he’s played very well off the bounce right he’s running the offense

Within the flow of it he’s not doing too much and he’s he has a a good form he has a good form on his shot so I think the shot will stay relatively close to 40 in the 40s for three I don’t think he going to stay at 46 cuz 46 is really

Hard to do but like he he shot like 36 37 as a rookie a couple of years ago like he was kind of known as a guy that could score and put the ball in the hoop um but now he just didn’t have the opportunity it’s that simple like he

Didn’t have like a expand an opportunity at an expanded role in OKC that’s just cuz how the team was but there’s so many players over there but now in Charlotte he has that opportunity and it it’s that’s why I loved when they traded uh when they traded for him and they gave

Up pwork it was like okay I can kind of see like you’re you’re taking flyers on guys that might have just needed a chance needed to change a scenery to show what they could really do and that was a really smart move by the front office that doesn’t get a whole lot of

Credit due to various failures up until this point but ultimately like the last couple of drafts they done all right like they done pretty solid and now you located another player that might have just needed an opportunity and in a few games with you has shown yeah I just

Kind of needed an opportunity at a at a good role at a big role on a team and they’ve played good basketball with him leading it all so I just wonder when you get your best well when yeah lamelo is the best player on that team Brandon

Miller won’t be far behind for very long but when you get that Bunch together that Trio what could it look like that could be that could be fun basketball that could be a team that is long and is creative with the ball they can get to

The rack they can shoot the three that could be there could be something there in a year or two and I think that’s what this team should be aiming for it’s just putting pieces together that could fit and could help each other grow that’s the that’s what should be happening so

Trey man on this team just made so much sense but I get I get kind of excited for like as a not as a basketball fan particularly but for like Hornets fans it’s been so dark and so Lumi now you’ve got okay we got lamelo we know how good

He is and can be Brandon Miller’s really been killing it the last six eight weeks let’s just go six weeks but he just been hooping lately right so you got those two as your franchise cornerstones then we make this trade for a guy that or trading a guy we didn’t really even care

For anymore in Gordon Hayward and we got this this guy Trey man that didn’t have a chance really before to really show his skill set and and show what he could do and he’s like hooping out there he’s like putting on a show he’s you got the

Hornets announcers who are like the best in the game by the way you got them CH yelling shoot it when he’s 30 feet from the rim so like that is stuff that like is is is fun it’s fun it’s good it’s good to see for that that that team that

Fan base and treay man particularly it’s good to see for him because he came into the league as this kind of like uh high potential guy he just didn’t know quite know what he was going to be and threw a few games and Charlotte he’s looked like

A at the very least a quality NBA guard that’s what he’s looked like in those few games now will that translate over the next 30 games to finish the season I hope so I think it has a very high chance of doing so because he’s a a good

Player like he has talent and it just mattered about getting in the situation that was going to allow him to show his talent now I’m not saying that this is going to make the Charlotte Hornets a major Contender or I’m not doing any of that none of that I’m just saying that

This is going to make them watchable and they have a fun potential potential Trio In lamelo Trey and Brandon Miller like things could get really good depending what they do with the rest of the team but ultimately I just like that Trey man got a shot
