It’s really lame that he did this. I suspect it’s so that if he didn’t win, he can deflect and say “Well I was shooting lefty anyway” so as to not take it seriously. Not cool, makes him look like a child IMO.

He doesn’t look great after this (lots of indignation about it because Wemby was legitimately trying—even though Paolo was jogging and didn’t even know the rules for the cones) but I did admire Ant’s commitment to the bit. It was gonna be funny either way, unfortunately he missed so it’s funny for the wrong reasons.
It would be great if All-Star Weekend was legitimately competitive! It would be great if they played defense during the All-Star Game. It would be great if the dunk contest didn’t suck ass. (Three point contest is still pretty good.) But it’s not, so I don’t really mind seeing Ant having fun. He’s giving the weekend the amount of respect it deserves.
