Dray was chatting with Charles Barkley about the recent trade rumors linking LeBron to the Warriors. Charles said the Lakers would gladly take Klay and Kuminga, but Draymond said he wouldn’t trade either of them, even if it was for LeBron. Thoughts? Imo it’s great that he said this but I’m not sure how truthful he’s being here.

I really wish Dray wouldn’t talk about this. Nothing good can come from speaking about trades that didn’t happen.

Everybody else on the roster hates draymond now lol
Lying ass 🤣
Lying ass🤣
So y’all really wouldn’t trade him for bron? This is the Poole thing all over again I hope this team sells high this off-season Steph has 2-3 prime yrs left gotta capitalize on it. Steph and bron together is definitely at least a finals trip
For the sake of this topic, let me take my petty issues with LBJ out of the equation and just purely based my decision on what will give the team the best chance to win during Steph’s prime.
If all the Lakers wanted was Kuminga and Klay, then yes, you do that. If they ask for any other young players, or even Wiggins as part of the deal. Then no, you don’t do that. Remember, we’re talking about 36 and 39 year old super stars here. You don’t put a strong supporting cast around them, you’ll be surprised how underwhelming the team could look.
LBJ has a top 10(?) player with him at the moment in AD. And they’re struggling.
So if you trade for LeBron, you better be able to keep role players like Wiggins, Podz, Draymond, etc. Make more moves if you can. Look at some of the players who got moved during the deadline – Gafford, Bojan, etc. Those are who you’re looking at to trade the other salaries on the team.
So with that said, I still don’t want him on this team. But I wouldn’t put it out of the question this summer since Lacob has now shown that he isn’t afraid to go for it.
