Damian Lillard says the Bucks aren’t missing any pieces in pursuit of title

Um I don’t think I wouldn’t say anything is missing I think we’ve been better defensively uh you know over this stretch of games uh anytime you have this type of change and you kind of reestablishing things you changing a lot of the structure that’s already been put

In um even if it’s positive even if it feels better you don’t always get the results right away um so I think for us because of everything that’s happened a lot of change me being traded right before training camp having a new coach uh first time coach to start the season

And now having a new coach halfway through the season um I think it just makes it more of a process for us um you know our our goal was never to win the championship in December January February or March um it’s always been a process but I think everything that’s

Happened we got to be patient with ourselves obviously we got to have urgency and not just think you know going into the break off a lost to Memphis with none of the guys is you know acceptable for for who we want to be but um you know it’s it’s going to be a

Process it’s going to be a journey for us to just kind of keep working and uh get to the point that we want to get to and you just never know when you never know when you going to arrive at that point you never know how close or far
