  1. I guarantee no other star in the League would take a challenge like this with all the potential backlash and criticism that could result from it, Steph is truly 1/1

Give credit to Sabrina for requesting NBA to let her use NBA 3 tho. I think she would have won if she used WNBA 3.

  3. O god. If we get round 2 next year and we don’t get the perfect outcome we are going to be hearing so much crap by the media.

  4. Steph-Paul

JJ looking like an absolute jersyshore jabroni.

  5. I only watched Rising Starts game with Podz and recording of Steph vs Sabrina. No interest in watching the rest of All Star weekend out of the game. I wasted three hours of my life watching the All Star game. I probably should have watched the Alt Cast with Dray & Charles instead.

Sabrina tied the best scores of all other three point contestants and only lost by three to Steph. Steph, well he outscored everyone cause he’s Steph. Both of them won. They also won the popularity contest. This all-star weekend was trash. Steph-Sabrina was the main event, and arguably the only exciting event. This could not have gone any better for both of them.

pretty sure even if Steph lost he’d come out a winner because he’s Steph

Man, kinda ridiculous that we live in a world where so many people are so concerned about the negatives of this event. Or to even think there should be negatives. Who fucking cares if Steph loses? Why would there be any negatives to that? We’ve seen so many good shooters shit the bed in the 3 point contest so to think there would be negatives if either just had an off night is wild.

I think JJ nails it with a lot to lose for both of them. Most of us assumed Steph would sleepwalk through this, but it was compelling bc Sabrina gave him the business. She was incredibly brave to stand up and take on the best shooter the world has ever seen on national tv, and not get embarrassed. And Steph, I mean he’s “playing a girl.” It’s a no-win situation, if you win good for you and if you lose you lost to a girl. Obviously that’s all garbage, but that’s what the social media commentary would be. Instead it was close and they both stepped up, it’s a great outcome.

  10. agreed. the rest of the events were shit. i was just waiting for this matchup. i do hope they can build on this without being too corny. as we know steph likes to try to do too many things.

Duo vs duo is very interesting or they could do it like steph picks a wnba player and sabrina picks a nba player. that will be quite interesting too

While other stars duck out of traditional events like the dunk contest to avoid the potential “embarrassment” from losing, Steph and Sabrina taking steps to shine light on charitable causes and the incredible talent in the WNBA. Hats off to both of them. 🏀🐐

Steph is the face of the league. NBA better shape up and realize this, stop trying to stuff the swooshes storyline of lebron james down our throat

it was definitely the most exciting event of the weekend, watching the actual all star game and slam dunk was like watching paint dry.
