Awards have become narrative based and lost their meaning a little bit. Players don’t win shit they absolutely deserve for stupid reasons like voter fatigue or just not liking players

I find it so funny how during the playoffs it seemed everyone agreed “oh yeah AD is the best defender in the NBA, crazy he doesn’t have a DPOY” and then just a few months later you have two rookies ahead of him in odds, one of which needs a literal chest pad to play defense lmao, I feel like I’m losing my mind
