@Golden State Warriors

Malika Andrews: “You’ve always said you wanted to go out with the same folks you rode in with, with Draymond, with Klay. Do you still believe that the three of you will be Golden State Warriors and that’s it for life?” Steph: “100%.”

Full exchange:

>**Malika Andrews:** “You’ve always said you wanted to go out with the same folks you rode in with, with Draymond, with Klay. Do you still believe that the three of you will be Golden State Warriors and that’s it for life?”
>
>**Steph:** “100%. I think that’s always been a motivator for us and I think the way that we talk about it is we want to, not only end our career as Warriors, not only continue to compete at a very high level, but you want to end it the right way.
>
>I think we’ve been through a lot this year and the three of us, especially with Draymond’s absence for a while, with Klay taking on a new role, the new cast of characters that we have that are right alongside us in this journey.
>
>I think it’s extremely possible to accomplish both. We just have to protect the identity of who we are as best we can and I think we’re moving in that right direction.”

It’s could be one of those “what else is he going to say” moments. But, he also could say something more vague, “that’s the goal but you never know, time will tell, it’s a business we have to play well, it’s out of our control, etc”. He’s left a little open but was heavier on the idea of staying together. So I think you have to consider that too.

Hoping the team can stay together. This year has shown us why that is not a given/easy and why it would be monumental to happen.

Tbf, I mean what is he gonna say? Im not 100% sure? Lol

Fuck yeah! All for it. Fuck the haters who say otherwise. Steph, Klay and Dray give warriors their identity and it’s a huge part of why I am a fan. People who want them traded for a chip are not real fans

Hoping the big 3 still has something left to all come off the bench and run roughshod over other team’s 2nd units.

I am ride or die right with them. Rather lose with those three than win with anyone else. They have given me so much joy for so long, the least I can do is support them forever.

  6. That’s our guy. And if Klay does accept his new role and can re-sign for a more team friendly deal, I can see it still happening. These 3 will have statues in front of chase center no matter what.

  7. “Klay’s new role.” Sounds like Steph had a come to Jesus talk with him.

Any slander against the the big 3 after 4 rings in a decade should be banned and deported to San Quentin.

I honestly don’t believe we’ll see anything like that in our lifetime.

  9. As long as Curry can talk Klay into accepting a contract in line with his new role, then I’m sure everyone would love him to stay.

But what about my bets on Draftkingz and FanDuel /s

I believe in them. Do what Miami couldn’t, win the finals as a play in team. Hell just win the finals and then maybe win bron a couple. The nba is full of frauds the dynasty is not over mark my words.

Klay is realizing that his skills have declined and that he really wants to stay where he is. As long was Draymond doesn’t blow up again, they’ll all stay together. Keep in mind whatever Steph wants is the way it will be.

They can all decide to retire together at any time.

I hope it ends up that way but I also think MDJ will do what is best for the team / organization above all else.

MDJ isn’t tied to the core 3 emotionally like Myers.  I think he sees the players more objectively.
