Just a reminder, Luke couldn’t utilize Brook after coming from Brooklyn have shot the 3 very well. Started Larry Nance over Randle. At some point had BI playing the point guard and never played to Zo strengths. He was ass.

Not with Luke as the coach

Chris Broussard….
The only iteration of the Young Laker hypotheticals that I really think is intriguing is if you have 2018-19 team all in their primes with that version of Bron.
Like a Current BI Kuz Zu.
With the collection of AC KCP at their levels now in 2024 because I believe they are better now than what they were with Bron and AD when we won the title especially AC from a shooting perspective. KCP confidence was shaky outside of the bubble.
Josh Hart being like a Bruce brown Javale playoff rondo.
Idk how to place Zo in all of this I guess pre injury Chicago Bull Zo.
That’s a bonafide championship team.
It’s essentially the title team in 2020 with a year younger Bron and minus AD with current BI Josh Hart Chicago Zo pre injury and Zu.
WordsAreSomething
I’d say no. You need some kind of MVP level player to win a championship. Very few have done it without that and this team wouldn’t have it.
austinreavesisbae
not a chance tbh
Umbrafile
Title, no. Playoffs, yes.
HughGRextion
with a different coach yes, and it depends is this the team before the deadline with larry and JC or the team after with IT and channing frye cause adding prime IT to this squad makes it nastyyyy
S_O_7
No lol. But with their energy and youth, they would have a better record than our current team
e90t
Their ceiling would be the WCF, and that’s with a competent coach like Ty Lue. The last team I can think of that won a chip without a superstar was Detroit in 2004 and this team at its peak doesn’t have a superstar.

Perennial first round exit
NichJackolson
Prime version of all the players on the team? I say yes. This team would also have KCP, Caruso, Hart, Clarkson, Deng (lol), IT… It would be an insanely stacked team
cohortq
I mean is Lonzo healthy and can stay healthy?
KaseyOfTheWoods
I don’t think so. Even with a better coach, Randle and BI isn’t a championship-caliber duo imo. I could see winning 1, *maybe* 2 playoff rounds, would depend on how the rest of the roster is rounded out.
Though prime Lonzo and prime BroLo are pretty sweet 3rd and 4th options
ToraLoco
This won’t even get as far as the Pelicans are doing now.
xxxhotpocketz
Unfortunately no. We’d be a play in team imo, and at best a 2nd round exit
mozzzking
No lol
Lightningstruckagain
That’s only 4 players. So no. And if Luke was a starter or the coach, also no.
Kobe_stan_
With Luke at 3 lol?

hell no
buckets_3
Nope not even close
skgoldings
With a good coach, they top out at 45-48 wins and a first round exit. Still would be fun to watch.
TheLooza
Yes. The title is “We Sucked: A Memoir”
Munk45
NGL I had high hopes for Kuz, Ingram, and Zo.

god it upsets me every fucking year that we let brook lopez walk for nothing.

With Fluke Walton, hell na.

They’d probably need a fifth player.
Prime Lonzo was at UCLA.
No, but they would be fun to watch
