Bontemps is the problem in today’s media. He provided no insight and sounded like a twitter troll just shitting on everyone and everything. Can’t stand that guy

Despite Lowe thinking it’s true I just don’t see anyway that Houston offer for bridges is true, at least the way it’s being reported. There has to be protections on the nets picks they’d be sending back, or Brooklyn would be adding future picks in the deal to get their own picks back.
Doesn’t make sense for either team. Houston isn’t mikal bridges away from being a playoff team and the nets aren’t 1 superstar away from being a contending team (not to mention all the useful role players they’d have to let walk/trade to attain said superstar). Even Jalen Green, he may not live up to the #2 overall pick but he’s not exactly Anthony Bennett, he’s skilled/athletic enough to have some useful role in the nba even if he isn’t a star.
Even the offer of 4 firsts for Mikal. They had to have all been *heavily* protected picks. If not, the Nets want a bigger return for a high end role player than what actual perennial all stars have been traded for in recent years
