Who’s to Blame for the Hawks Struggles?

I swear it feels like forever ago that the Atlanta Hawks reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021 it feels so long ago I forgot it was just 3 years ago and what I’m about to say is me taking nothing away from the Atlanta Hawks they were great that year but you

Got to remember during that playoff run in 20121 they beat a Knicks team that really overachieved in the first round and in the second round against Philly well that series is now Infamous from when Ben Simmons passed up that wide open layup nevertheless even though the Hawks lost to the eventual Champions the

Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals it looked as if the future was bright in ATL for NBA basketball well fast forward to next season and they got even worse then due to that fast forward to that off season and the Hawks went all in and traded three first round picks to San

Antonio in exchange for Deonte Murray now going into last season with the Hawks adding dejonte you would think they would meet expectations and be one the top teams in the East but they did not meet expectations because the Hawks went from finishing as the eighth seed

In the east East in 2022 to finish in as a seventh seed the year after and that brings us to this season now because the Hawks somehow got even worse and now it’s time to address the title of this video and play the blame game and ask

Who is to blame for the hawk struggles this season and this is just me from what I’ve seen so far this season but I put the blame on three things and those three things are no defense no depth and a lack of consistency now believe it or

Not the Hawks are one of the best offensive teams in the NBA but the same definitely cannot be say on the other end of the Court as the Atlanta Hawks are oneof scratch that they are the worst team defensively in the NBA throwing the fact that the Atlanta Hawks

Organization hasn’t done the best job adding depth to the team along with guys like bogdanovich DeAndre Hunter and sadik Bay not being consistent on a nightly basis and that’s just a recipe for disaster for the Atlanta Hawks but hey this is just all strictly my Opinion You

Who’s to blame for the Atlanta Hawks struggles?

The Atlanta Hawks came into 2023-24 with expectations to be better than they’d been the last couple years where they ended up as low seeded first round exits.

Trae Young and Dejounte Murray were going into year two as a duo, young players like AJ Griffin, Jalen Johnson, and Onyeka Okongwu felt poised for breakout seasons, and new head coach Quin Snyder did a pretty good job with the team in his short tenure last season.

However, they’ve been bad and are sitting on the verge of the lottery a quarter of the way into the season. It’s been an incredibly disappointing start to the year, one that could lead to Trae Young leaving sooner than later.
