If I’m looking at the right sources, Milwaukee has 8,224 hotel rooms in the city proper and four five star hotels, and Baird Center is slated to have 1.3 million square feet of exhibition space by May. The airport seems to be the problem…assuming those are daily numbers, there are about 74 daily domestic flights. International is seasonal, but this month Mitchell is averaging a mere one international flight a day.

We’ve had the US Open, PGA Championship, MLB All Star game. NFL draft in GB next year. If Milwaukee is just shy of the hotel or flught requirement that’s a really poor excuse.

These gotta be new. Indy doesn’t meet 2 of these three standards either. I’m betting a bunch of the media bitched about it…

I never want any of our players or staff at all star weekend again. Quick summary of it:
Ok, so my girlfriend was looking over my shoulder as I was reading this post and said “*that dude looks like a Holocaust survivor or a chemo patient*”. I admitted that yeah he’s a goofy lookin’ fuck likely from a hybrid alien origin, but nonetheless a great commissioner.
On topic, Milwaukee did actually host the NBA All Star weekend in 1977, the same year that the Portland Trailblazers won their first and only NBA championship led by Bill Walton. I have little doubt we will host again, especially ~~–if–~~ after we win another title soon.
**Fun fact:** *Portland, Sacramento, Oklahoma City,* and *Memphis* are the only NBA cities who have yet to host an NBA All Star weekend.

Why does anyone want the all star game here? Is everyone aware that the all star game takes place in mid february? It’s typically single digits outside in milwaukee. January and February are the absolute worst times of the year to be in milwaukee. I live here, I love this place. I used to live in Indiana. Milwaukee is a much cooler city than Indianapolis. But that’s not the point. No one wants to be here in February and rightfully so. I don’t want milwaukee to host a bunch of celebs just so they can complain about the weather and how there’s no clubs. Please never have all star weekend in milwaukee.

So some fun facts:
