Scott Van Pelt’s biggest storylines for the 2nd half of the NBA season | SC with SVP

Some NBA news as the All-Star break will end on Thursday one of the Marquee games on the Slate loses a little bit of its juice after missing the final game before the break LeBron James will also sit out the Lakers Road game against golden state with a left ankle injury

It’ll be the second of the four meetings between the teams this Season one big thing the NBA gets going again Thursday after the allstar open gym last weekend in Indianapolis don’t need to waste a lot of energy on what that was I tweeted if you don’t care neither do we people take that as me being mad I’m not mad the

Commissioner clearly was despite his pleas and some old school legends giving a nudge apparently trying to get the guys to care even a little bit is a bridge too far but it’s it’s an exhibition so oh well the title is what matters and pursuit begins in Earnest again Thursday checking out the

Standings I looked at the back of the East you got Chicago and Atlanta 910 huge markets some All Stars in both spots but how much time and interest are we going to devote to pondering the playoff fates of either likely not a ton now look at 910 in the west it’s the Los

Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors probably be a bit more conversation here the trade that didn’t happen involving LeBron and the Warrior speaks to where those franchises and players are and their respective story arcs you know how those work right in literature or film making you have

Rising action you have a climax falling action and then resolution the characters involved for both teams have starred in more than their share of Blockbusters but we’re getting closer to the credits rolling than we might be comfortable admitting out loud because when that ends it makes us all aware of

Where our story arcs are LeBron debuted in the NBA a couple years after I got here it really been 20 something years damn he’s done a remarkable job of not aging out of his job and is not just capable of doing it but he’s still great

At it and that alone ought not be missed but like Tiger Woods at his Peak LeBron has tricked us all into thinking that it goes on forever it does not the Warriors run has included legendary highs some losses that are Unforgettable as well because of how they lost and who beat

Them that core three remains along with Steve Kerr draymond’s got some gray in the beard Clay is grappling with roles and has struggled openly and honestly as he always does about his situations as for Steph he’s another king of the time warp no longer the Babyface kid but

Somehow still ageless at 35 his gifts still evident but here they are along with the Lakers on the back end of this thing Minnesota and OKC they are young young ascending and they are not bending down to kiss Rings the Clippers have a guy who’s demonstrated in several places

That he can get you some jewelry in a parade Denver’s jewelry is still shiny and brand new which is to say there’s a lot in the way for the Lakers and the Warriors significant obstacles not the least of which is the reality of time which is the harshest opponent any of us

Encounter they have the second half of the season in this the fourth quarter of their careers

SVP’s 1 Big Thing focuses on the second half of the NBA season, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors’ pursuit of a spot in the playoffs.

  1. Un tour de force di creatività; questo video è un esempio di genialità artistica digitale.😻

  2. SVP SVP SVP!
We want more of Scott on the channel please!
Waaaay better than Mad Dog's blubber and argumentative nonsense

  3. So many great storylines to talk ab, but only 10 seconds spent on the rest of the best in the West, while we focus most of the video on an 8 and 9 seed……

  4. Second half predictions playoffs
    East 1 Celtics
    2 cavs
    3 Knicks
    4 bucks
    5 pacers
    6 heat
    7 sixers
    8 magic
    West 1 nuggets
    2 clippers
    3 wolves
    4 thunder
    5 suns
    6 Lakers
    7 pelicans
    8 warriors
Play in really don't matter in the east but I think the last play in game in the west go be between mavericks and warriors gonna be a classic game I really wanna see Luka and Kyrie in the playoffs but I think Curry Draymond pull it off for the last spot

  5. Imagine talking about a 9 and 10 seed in the West, when there are so many other great young teams balling out. It’d be like talking nonstop about this year’s Bears and Giants in the NFL . Two franchises who have made great runs in the past, but not close to a contender / playoff team this year.
