I love Joel and maxey, but my nostalgia will only ever let me pick the 2011-12 sixers from the lockout season
I was a casual fan before this season. I’d watch games here and there with my dad before, and always catch the playoffs, but this is the first season I sat down and watched games of my own accord. I watched every sixers regular season game that year (easier cause it was 66) and was actually convinced we were gonna beat that celtics team in game 7. Good times

Simmons’ and Embiid’s first season together was a lot of fun. The potential was off the charts. We had lot of cap space and draft picks to surround those two and WE FUCKING BLEW IT.
Also the Butler season was pretty great.
The 00-01 team that went to the Finals
I liked the 2018 team coached by Brett that lost to the celtics in the second round. I felt if we kept that roster and tried again the next yr wed have made a ECF. However, i like the JB sixers roster also.
2000-2001 Team. You had to be there.
Digging 23-24
The obvious answer for me is the ‘01 squad. I’ve never seen a Sixer team play that hard in my life.
I also randomly enjoyed the 07-08 team with Andre Miller, Iggy, Lou Will, Thaddy, and the GOAT Slammin’ Sammy. The game where we held the Bobcats to 63 points was hilarious. Same with Iggy’s last season beating the injured, but still #1, Bulls.

Any roster with Iverson will probably be my favorite because of him alone. Really the most fun since then was the January 2017 team, followed closely by the Butler team.

17-18 for sure. We finally had turned around the process but weren’t yet good enough to have burdening expectations, so to be the up-and-comers was great

I really loved watching Iverson as a kid. He was my sports hero so any roster with him on it. So probably the roster when they went to the finals. But they got met with a juggernaut of a team with Kobe and Shaq.
20-21 was a fun bright spot that brought good vibes to a shitty year until it didn’t anymore
17-18 and 18-19 were both a lot of fun
