  1. havent even given him a single meaningful nba minute before deciding to lock him up on a multiyear deal lmao

Where are all the AK haters now?! Locking-in that 9 seed!

  3. DoctorChampTH

He won the slam dunk contest twice, during 2018 and 2020 Basketbol Süper Ligi All-star weekend.[1][2]

Sounds like he has some hops too.

  4. pcmasterthrow

Hell yeah, let’s get him some fuckin minutes now

  5. Bahamut_19

last night he had a really impressive drive. He didn’t finish, but if he did, we would have been quite impressed. I think he’ll be a pretty decent player if given a chance.

Probably because of [this game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QVFcw9-SHk). I mean, dude has some stuff. He’s a bit of a spaz but there’s some good things there. Gotta like 4x% on high volume… gotta NOT like the streakyness. Good size; strong; quick-ish; some hops…

    I don’t _hate_ it

Wtf are we doing? This basically means we aren’t doing anything in the buyout market, even though we could’ve kept Bitim on a two way for the rest of the year and still played him, and kept that roster spot for someone else

Deal probably has team options on every year or in non-guranteed. If you think there was some savior coming in from the buyout market you’re an idiot.

If Bitim develops you have a good player on the cheap, if he doesn’t he can probably be cut at anytime without any long-term financial impact.

    Excellent news!

I was hoping they had seen enough to lock him up,  apparently they did.

I’ve seen him a couple times in the G and he looked solid.

Speaking of G-league players, I wish that we could see Adama Sanogo get some playing time. He’s a 6’9, 240-pound guy who played at Uconn when they won the NCAA championship and personally won the most outstanding player award, which he shares with Hakeem Olajuwan and Anthony Davis. I know college ball and G-leagie performance doesn’t translate 1-for-1 on the big court, but the Bulls are really lacking in size, and maybe this guy can be a good piece in the future.

You can’t say “we want to compete” then use your final roster spot on a guy with 6 nba minutes over buyout guys who have had success

  12. Mr-Chip18

Why is everyone clamoring for a buyout veteran??? Who gives a fuck about this season or roster, root for losses and a better pick and no playoffs so AK looks like the jackass he is

  13. Imsoamerican

Y’all have no idea what you want, do you? All I heard at the beginning of the season is y’all whining about the lack of player development and trust in our young guys. Yet when the FO follows this is the correct road down that path, y’all still complain. It’s just sad that you can’t enjoy your own team and apparently basketball.

  14. I was just about to see him for the Windy City Bulls this Saturday

  15. TheJunkyardDog

now thats the competitive move that screams continuity we were all hoping for!

    Thanks AKME.

    Now please go fck yourself.
